What's the best way to monitor say the % your up in a particular call/put single leg option? Is there a way to integrate monitor tab specifically the active positions so you can get out or in a call or put option quickly say when you are down maybe 30% or whatever your mental stop is , according to your trade plan?

Using the auto send and clicking the ask means you would pay higher price instead of the marked price. Would the auto send get you into trade with the marked price which is the average of BID and ASk prices?

when buying options to get filled faster would you recommend buying the ask and selling the bid or is it something better you would recommend

If you need to fill immediately, adding the buy at ask button and sell at bid button will be an excellent substitute for using market orders. I'd only use them if it was something very liquid with tight bid/ask spreads, but you should really only be using these tools if you are trading liquid underlyings

I asked tos that question today....the p/l under the buy/sell buttons on active trader DOES NOT WORK FOR OPTIONS! I didn't know if the order had filled or not because nothing was showing in the position p/l, day p/l boxes. Support said it doesn't work In AT and you have to click on the monitor tab to see it. Sucks.

YOU CAN'T! The position p/l, day p/l, etc position buttons do NOT work in Active trader.

Just head over to the far right hand side in the tool bar and deselect "chart." Let me know if you have any trouble finding it!

How do you make the trade for the option you chose (at the money strike price) that's sitting in the drop down bar? would that be a buy the ask? If so then why not just buy the market if you are specifically looking for at the money strikes? thanks.

I have a 1fst trigger seq order for a put spread, which sells a put spread when filled, then triggers a buy order for less, which is working as needed. But would like to place this order with one click. I currently have it saved then have to manually go through the steps to duplicate it, then send it. I want to be able to with one click send the same order anytime I want or place the same order multiple times for liquidity issues, i.e. smaller quantities multiple times instead of one large order that might challenge liquidity. Any thoughts!

This was good setup video. But I prefer trade tab, then active trader. actually mine is way different than this...I only need one active trader window..and I have 3 charts up for one ticker with 3 different timeframe..short, medium, and long, as per my strategy, then I have level 2 and time and sales...and I pick contracts from a separate window on the chain and send them to window...I only deal with 2 colors. 1 color is for tickers which is my chart window and time and sales it's linked to my watchlist, and the other color is for sending contracts to activate trader. Charts tab, I do use it ..but not to trade from...I use that to monitor a bunch of different stocks...I put ES up on one and NQ...I have 9 chart windows open in the charts tab. This way is good though, as a general way to get into trading options. I've been using TOS for a while and came up with a way that works for me, I don't think it's the fastest...I think this way is actually probably faster, but the way I have it works for me and I'm super comfortable with it lol. But this was interesting to see how you have yours so thanks for sharing.
