This was an excellent video!! I love the "staycation by yourself" idea to help build your traveling alone confidence, that's something I hadn't considered! I'm with someone, but I have absolutely dreamed of taking a camping trip alone or a short road trip by myself, and this absolutely built some confidence and planted a seed of wonder in my soul. 🧡 (: thank you!!

OMG! Your answer to the very 1st question just made me feel so much better about myself! You said you were in Nebraska for the 1st 26 yrs of your life. I'm 27 and want to live on the road full-time and have for yrs, I've been scared to jump into it, because I haven't been able to secure a steady income that I could do on the road. I've been feeling like maybe I'll never end up on the road the way I want to be, maybe I'm getting too old to start and still be able to settle down with a family when my travels inevitably must come to an end. Hearing that you didn't start until you were 26 really made me feel better, like I still have time to live my life too LOL. I know, I know, 27 isn't that old logically, but I've been getting a lot more pressure from family to "settle down" and start a family, make a career that'll support a family. Part of that pressure has been to forget my dreams like full time road life, "I'm too old to start it and a family." I'm glad I got to hear that someone else didn't start road life until after they were 25.

Good tips. I’m a van lifer (2 years) and I’ve dated on the road. One relationship was with another van lifer that is a KZbinr. It’s different because if you admire their company, you tend to just hit the road together and you’re now around each other all the time. A fast bake relationship vs a slow boil. Which may or may not workout because of that fast paced “get to know each other”.

Yo Kayli! Great to meet you on the O trek! I went and bought the peak design capture clip... thanks for the inspiration! Also grabbed a Hyperlite versa waist pack, which can go on your backpack hip belt and holds my camera and a lens! ... check it out! Happy trails buddy! - Darren -

Great video. I'm currently panning a 3 month trip across south east asia and would love to know what your favourite places to visit or activities to do are.

I am very disappointed from Chungis Q&A. She didn't answer a single question. But it is ok, she's so cute, I can let it pass. 🤗

What’s your occupation to allow yourself to live this life?

You can definitely check pepper spray and knifes! I’ve also accidentally taken little ones in carry-on’s before, but I don’t endorse doing that on purpose because my white privilege is likely the only reason that didn’t cause a huge problem for me.

Is this only if your flying domestic? Or is it okay for international travel as well?

I also rlly appreciate u for acknowledging white privilege & not encouraging ppl to try to sneak it though TSA

@@nicemmmm It's always important to check the specific airline requirements beforehand to avoid trouble! but yes from my research and experience, this applies to domestic and international flights. As long as it's checked it should be fine.

@@nicemmmm no no no definitely not something I recommend doing on purpose.
