I used to ride the 2006 CBR 1000RR Fireblade - it was insane and I think it looked better than the newer ones. The whine of the motor used to give me goosebumps. A good excuse for speeding is that you need to cool the motor.

Thanks for the 5 homie! Happy new year! The SP is the top of the line rn if we are talking about pure top speed. The s1k is cheaper and can hold its own against a sp all the way till about 180 mph. I would take the bmw as well for a more well rounded bike considering the costs. But I dont know ... The SP is just hard to compete with. Anyways thanks again dude.

These bikes don't get nearly enough love. Fireblade is the perfect name because these things absolutely breathe fire. If you are comparing apples to apples in the high end super bike world right now, these are the best combination of value for performance and reliability (Competition being Ducati V4S, Aprilia RSV4 Factory, BMW S1k M Package...I love the R1 but it doesn't belong in the same convo anymore, as it's getting long in the tooth). This bikes biggest downfall is cast wheels. The S1K has been struggling with a lot of reliability concerns and that flat spot in the middle is awful. It does best with a tune and Cat delete. The Fireblade just needs a tune and you're off and running.

currently it is the most beautiful bike aesthetically as well as in terms of power! before the podium for me was the panigale v4s (aesthetically), but after they presented the new panigale with that aesthetic in my opinion they lost points and the first podium now goes to the fireblade rrr! beautiful! then if you add the wider side wings it becomes even more mean in the nose! I hope to own one one day

I went and sat on one last weekend. They are actually the least expensive top tier bike...R1M is 28k, ZX10RR is 30k, M1kRR is 42k, Ducati you cant even begin to talk about. Honda being 28k is right inline price wise. I am so torn with getting one now vice waiting til next year. I have an M1kRR at the moment but I am a Honda guy at heart...I had a 93CBR900RR, a 2001 RC51, and now REALLY wanna dip my toe back into another one! I am torn between it and the R1 and the Aprilia. Does the SP come with the rear seat cover?? He has a passenger seat on it but no pegs...

Bmw 100% I'm 6'1 220 and I was so comfortable on it. So if you're a taller rider definitely S1K. The RRR's ergonomics will be more aggressive which of course makes since it was designed to be a track monster. My buddy had a Panigale V4 and more the same aggressive riding position. So in closing if comfortable is the deciding factor S1k all day.
