Flying with my man man, Frisco from Eagle Dynamics - a sound guy who takes me through an awesome mission for the F-5E. The mission is one of the many provided for the F-5 within the game. Obviously my score was higher than his because I was a Tornado GR4 pilot and he was a GR4 Nav, lol *MEGA BANTER* Skip to 25:55 for the chill out RTB post mission vibes :)

My pleasure and hoping to do a few more. You can all do this with a mate, or mates, by going to Mission Editor and opening this up from F-5, Single, Ships. Change the bomber F-5s to "client" then save in My Missions. Then go to MP, add the mission and use your own PC as server.

I hate to say I saw it coming, but as you were setting up I was thinking I never arm on the ground. But, watching that Mk-82 drop though my first thought was that it was intentional. Setting up as the cool guy flying away from an explosion.

Negative - I'm happy to pre-select a pylon and I'd always setup on the ground for real. The failure was the bomb arming, it should never arm so close to the aircraft for precisely the reason shown. It's a fusing error in the F-5E, release bombs with negative g and they will explode against your aircraft which they wouldn't do for real. All my vids are real, I don't hide anything to make myself look better, I'm learning DCS like the next guy, I just teach it because I'm further along than most people in the learning curve and I can apply 20 years of doing it for real to the flight school - come fly.

By no means am I trying to teach you, sir. I'm sure it's completely fine to do real world and nearly always in the simulator. One of these days I'll figure out how to get online and come embarrass myself so we can all get a good laugh. Haha

Glad to see such an honest depiction of the state of things with a years old module in DCS. - bomb fell off the plane and fuzed on the ground (ordonnance guys must have had a grudge or something for using those fuzes) - ed mate has black stutters in VR (only in DCS) - ai can't even navigate properly on ground without running into things (I got remembered of all the command and conquer harvester pathfinding jokes) I am glad you both managed to have so much fun as you did though. PR wise not a good stunt for ED.

This one is very difficult for me. I frequently get shredded by the boat's AAA gunfire. I even hit the ships, but they don't go down. I just keep telling my AI wingman to roll in once I'm Winchester. They do a decent job. I've only beaten that mission once. That Mk84 falling off on departure was very funny. Stranger things have happened in DCS lol. Too banter about that Jaguar in your banter at the end.

Set up a pattern to attack from the bow of the ships - the CIWS have a blind spot from 10-2.

@@edfrisco2515 You saved me so much headache and agita! I have been trying to beat that mission on a consistent basis since the F-5 was released. Doing a pattern, and coming in from the bow of the ships makes a huge difference. Thank you so much!
