Forza Horizon 4 's NOT The Best Sounding Cars, BECAUSE A FEW HAS THE SAME ENGINE SOUND! @ Turn 10 Studios & Playground Games.
Yes, this is what it is. Forza has some good sounding cars with huge backfires, pops, crack & bangs, also good sounding turbo / compressor sounds.

THANK GOD you did this, I was working towards doing something like this myself. A few of the ones which bother me most: MCLaren P1, no longer has its own sound, it’s sound is now copy pasted from the 650s and 720s Ferrari F12 TDF, one of best sounding cars in FH3 and now it sounds rubbish. Gallardo, brilliant unique sound in FH3, now has the same crappy V10 sound as the R8 and huracan, copy pasted. Not to mention Nissan GT-R, was perfect in FH2...

Hi! Du hast deutsches Gameplay, also nehme ich an du bist auch Deutsch! ;-) Sehr guter Beitrag! Ich hab das schon lange kritisiert!!! Du bist der Erste, der dieses Thema mit einem Clip anspricht! Ja, viele Sounds sind schlimmer geworden! Manche hören sich bei höherer Drehzahl wie "Zwei nebeneinander" an. Wie so ein komischer Stereo-Effekt...Zum Klang: Der Mclaren F1 hörte sich in FH2 noch Geil an, in FH3 nur noch Scheisse! Muss man ehrlich mal sagen! Die ganzen V12 Lambo's hören sich seit FH3 auch allesamt Scheisse an, außer Reventon und Murcielago SV... Der R34 und der R35 GT-R hörten sich in FH3 auch furchtbar an, aber in FH4 merkwürdigerweise wieder besser! Da bin ich dann doch erstaunt! ;-) Die meisten Porsche in FH3 hörten sich wirklich verdächtig gut an, vorallem das Schreien des 991.1GT3 RS! ;-) Wurde da mehr Geld gezahlt??? ;-) Der 918 war in FH3 extrem Laut, aber auch Geil! In FH4 haben sie das alles wieder Grandios verkackt... Aber hin und wieder findet man auch Ausnahmen: Hab Gestern den BMW i8 mit BMW M5 V10-Swap gefahren, und der hört sich mal richtig Geil an! Der Jaguar C-X 75 ist auch nicht schlecht! Hat im Original auch diesen Superbike-Sound! ;-) Der Vulcan klingt auch gut, sowohl mit Original-Motor als auch mit dem Rennmotor -V12 (Ferrari F50GT! ;-) Bin Forzaspieler seit FM4 und bin trotzallem immer noch begeistert von der FH-Serie! Es gibt aber auch noch andere Mängel: FXX K ist viel zu langsam und der Spoiler ist die ganze Zeit ausgefahren, etc... FH3 hatte auf vielen Autos Grafikbugs... Hier bei FH4 gehts eigentlich... Was auch richtig dämlich aussieht ist die Sitzposition der Drivatare in vielen Autos!!! Statt weit hinten, sitzen die oft viel zu weit vorne! Nächster Punkt: Das Spurverbreiterungsfeature find ich richtig Geil, denn viele Autos sehen ohne Spurverbreiterung Scheisse aus: Lotus Omega z.B., vorne zu Schmal, hinten zu Breit... Hach, ich könnte endlos weiter machen... ;-)

They were ok, but when you raced against opponents, often the engine sounds glitched and then a GT3000 sounded like a VW Golf. In terms of sound and feel, Most Wanted is the best. The engines sound beefy and the feeling when racing the cars is so good, they shudder with each upshift, as if they are loosing power and then regaining it very quickly. Love it

It does sound like a Viper, but the mixing of the sound samples is SO screwed up. The main thing you hear past about 3k RPM is a loud tick which makes the car sound like a Harley V-twin. What the actual fuck. It sounds like they may have recorded brand new samples for FH4 Vipers, but the microphone was placed too close to the exhaust and picked up actual pulses of exhaust gas (bursts of air hitting the mic) instead of just the audio.

Matthew Howarth Man I don’t care about the Spacers and Bodykits, that’s not my type of style of cars, and that still isn’t my issue with the game, I mean its cool and whatnot, but at this point T10 has literally committed a felony that being the fact that they somehow managed to F*** UP sounds like the legendary RB26. I love some of the cars in this video that have a disappointing car sound (i.e the Maserati Gran Turismo, Dodge Viper, and the Skylines), and by the lack of effort they put into making the sound, its making me never want to drive these legendary cars, and honestly thats why i’m thinking that no one at T10 is even a car enthusiast anymore, cuz if they were..they would at LEAST had the common knowledge to know that a Nissan Skyline R34 GTR..does not shared the sound to ever single modern M Performance car. Most likely T10 is just being lazy, or just spent way too much time into those stupid useless emotes, and clothing items. The car sounds have been one of my biggest issues with Horizon for a while, the Lambo Huracan has no pops on the overrun...despite them being present in H2, same goes for the Jag F type...two cars that are famous for their burbles on the overrun that are just missing in the game. I know it's perhaps being a little picky compared to more casual players but it ruins these cars for me in the game :(
