I was excited to see Mike Massey. I used to watch him as a kid on ESPN doing trick shots before I knew anything about pool or pro names

Yeah but can Corey run a professional 10ft table with the same precision? Probably not. Mike's work and whole career was on professional size tables, not on a 7ft x 3.5ft bar room table. That's a shoe box in comparison to how much open slate there is on a 10 footer!

Mike Massey is such a class act.

Good announcing. Low key. Perfect imo

I found it interesting that Corey hit only one shot hard, the follow-shot at 23:50. Also, I was surprised at the abruptness of some of Mike's cueing action (e.g. 26:50, 27:33, 29:12).

Bar-box 8-ball as it should be played. I'm sure Corey felt bad about beating a legend like that.
@michaeltrumph1216 жыл бұрын
"as it should be played" GTFOH This is an insult to pool and the reason the sport is being laughed at. 9ft table minimum. 10 ft table is the way it should be played.
@patrickbreach50946 жыл бұрын
Michael Trumph 8 ball on a 9ft is too easy for these guys. Bar box is much harder because of less room to move the cue ball around.
@michaeltrumph1216 жыл бұрын
Patrick Breach True, there is less room to maneuver the cueball, but making balls is just too easy.

bar box and 9 ft table are 2 table i like to see any players play on , but i read the spoiler alert to know who won haha .

@@michaeltrumph121 I agree, but step it up even from there and play snooker. Way more challenging game than billiards!

This match made me sad. Mike is over thinking shots and then not doing his proper preshot routine. Just an off day for him. I really wanted to see him get atleast 4 on Corey.

It looked like Corey might have touched the ball under his cue at 6:00. Is this just a friendly game with a little leeway given?

Mike was having a HORRIBLE time with breaks. Sucks, would have liked to see him play more. That one messy table he left Corey, and then his messy table directly following were nice runs. Man, you make two or three errors at this level (including DRY BREAK as an error!), you are hosed. Corey played massively well, as he most always does. I wish I could remember to look for stop balls for placement like Corey often does...he REALLY knows how to use "blockers" to advantage. Corey played, for all practical purposes, perfect pool here. Hard to even GET TO the table when you're playing someone who's playing at that level. I don't like playing small tables for the same reason it's fun to watch these masters do it. Everything is ALWAYS in the way.
