She is absolutely flawless in my eyes; how she is perfectly matched up with every aspect of her interactions, from her audio, to the involvement with the other animatronics. So amazing, wish I could've seen her in action~!

Well there's a lot of people riding it non stop. When rides don't get a good amount of time to rest and be repaired and checked, they break down more often. With Disney parks, the rides are used all day long

I liked the original Decaying Ravenswood Phantom better. Phantom Manor always had a more mature, ominous vibe to it and I think the previous animatronic fit that better. On that note, YES PLEASE TO A PHANTOM MANOR BEFORE AND AFTER!

I think I prefer the old Phantom animatronic. It was so much creepier and more menacing. The new one just looks like a dapper Terminator to me and it feels weird. The rotting corpse Phantom also made more sense because it looked like the corpse of the Phantom was trying to lure us into his old coffin to take his place. The new one is still creepy but it just doesn't feel quite right.

I'm so glad you guys gave Kitchen Kabaret some spotlight! Here's hoping the characters are doing well nowadays, or at the very least helped out other animatronics as parts donors. I'm super happy Uh-Oa survived the fire, even if she's more of a statue now. The ride may have been a mess, but god, I was in love with her as a kid, haha. She was huge, too!

From a long-time fan : PLEASE do a full video on Phantom Manor if you can find enough to talk about! It was the last Disney ride I got to experience in full with my mother, before she passed away in March of last year, and I’m so fascinated by the changes they’ve made to the manor since we went together! She was never a fan of the Haunted Mansion, even though she indulged my love of all things Disney, but she LOVED Phantom Manor for its unique storyline, mature atmosphere, and hauntingly beautiful score!

The Iago animatronic is in one of WDI's workshops. They had it on display at the 2013 D23 Expo's Imagineering exhibit. As for the alien animatronic, they took off tiny pieces of its leg and put them in limited edition "Piece of Disney History" pins for guests to buy.

4:49 It looks like it's just the cosmetics with some fancy lighting. I feel like the mech that allows the character to move was most likely for the most part removed for any possible parts before mounting the rest on the wall. I don't see them just keeping the mech in unless maybe the cosmetics melted to the mech and shell somehow and they were afraid of damaging it even worse. Cool that they were able to reuse it at all but still makes me wonder if they may have repaired and reused the mech, at least partially for another character that hasn't been publicly documented as a retrofit yet.

I may be 15 but that doesn’t mean I don’t know anything about Disney History! I’d say that Kitchen Kabaret has to be the most advanced animatronics show in EPCOT. Also, most people believe that since Debbie died in there and it was known to most people, that could have caused the decline in attendance for the ride. If America Sings had updated many times to the point of today, we may still have it. But, as many things become popular, they are bound to die. Also, my opinion on Phantom Manor? Well, I’d have to say the one before the refurbishment. Not just because I like the Disney Nostalgia/vintage history of the rides, but because he looked cool. But if you think about it; if you were a kid, you’d be scared by the Phantom. Disney likes to keep things not as scary and family friendly, so maybe the Phantom has to be changed for the better. Like the original Phantom Manor Soundtrack, the Phantom could be brought back!

It's had to say which phantom animatronic I like best. They both are amazing. The older one is more frightening and ghastly, while the newer one moves smoothly and looks nice, compared to the older one. Perhaps they could possibly combine both into one where his appearance changes from new to old for a breif moment...

I personally think that the old and new Phantom Ravenswood could've been combined in a way. The clothes (plus hat) could've been tattered and showing ever-so-few bones (disguised robotics, of course), maybe the skull could've been a bit 'cracked' around the eyes, and the new glowing eyes could replace the old corpse-y ones. Though I think the current Ravenswood is definitely more suitable for children under 13, the original Ravenswood is very much so for those who want some spooks, no matter the age (unless they're seriously young).
