Fastpitch Softball - Steal Running Times

Steals are tough to find on video because they usually don't show the entire steal. I was able to get enough and have some historical data to comfortably state base stealers should be in the 2.5's to 2.6's seconds. The jump is very important because all successful base stealers leave early. 1/2 a step (~0.15 sec) is a good jump, but I've seen jumps as large as a full step (~0.3 sec). Anything more than 1/2 a step is starting to push it, but it depends on the umpire and their location on the field. If you care to crunch the numbers to decide if your player can steal, below are the numbers I've calculated/collected to do so.
OFFENSIVE METRICS
Steal Times (The surface you run on matters. Soft dirt can cost a full 0.1 sec.):
Excellent: 2.5's sec and below.
Good: 2.6's sec
Fair to Bad: 2.7 sec and over
Steal Jumps:
Excellent (if you can get away with it): 1 full step early (~0.3 sec)
Good: 1/2 step early (~0.15 sec)
Fair: 1/4 step early (~0.08 sec)
Bad: On time or late
DEFENSIVE METRICS
Pitch pop times (did the math to figure this out and confirmed on live pitching):
50 mph = 0.58 sec
55 mph = 0.53 sec
60 mph = 0.49 sec
65 mph = 0.45 sec
70 mph = 0.41 sec
Catcher pop times (From Athletes Unlimited games):
Aubrey Munroe: 1.6 sec
Paige Halstead: 1.7 sec
Everyone else: 1.8 - 2.0 sec
Tag times:
Excellent (throw on the bag/on the runner): 0.0x sec
Good (throw on the bag around waist height): 0.1 - 0.15 sec
Fair to Bad (in between hop, throw on 3rd base side of bag, throw above chest): 0.3 - 1 sec
