The presenter failed to mention one very important step. When he pivoted the arm parallel to the car bumper, his right hand reached over to a silver release clip that needs to be pulled forward. The bar DOES NOT automatically drop out itself at any angle. All components should be lubricated with at least WD40 so that you can minimize the "creeking" sound of the components.

@@RVTechToursatPrincessCraft One bitch. The bars don't drop out of the hitch mounts as easy as advertised,. Supposedly you can either a) pull the snaps out and they'll come out......or just rotate to perpendicular to the rear of the truck. Wasn't quite that easy.

@@carolinagoldbug983 with a slight upward pressure on the bar the tab pulls the pin quite easily and the bar drops out. There is no benefit to twisting the bar perpendicular to the hitch.

Would like to see the whole set up. How tall is that travel trailer or does the truck have a lift?

There are only a couple of good videos for the complete setup. Be sure the presenter has a grasp of physics and engineering before you follow their instruction.

Those sway bars have been extremely difficult to get them to snap in

Good video, dont know that I would crank the tongue jack that high, its designed to lift the trailer weight, not the truck's rear end weight - you should always be using the prybar to engage the round bars.

you only need to go up a couple inches...you aren't lifting the truck's weight as long as the wheels are still on the ground lol...
