That socket is not 1/2 inch drive. It is 3/4 inch drive. Big difference. That is why you had that huge torque wrench! Nice hitch but I would have to get another type because that noise would make me crazy! What I cant figure out is which hitch to buy... The hitch info says so many weights. Will have to call. But I did chat and the guy said a new ranger could not use a wd hitch... lol. Nice and detailed video. Extra points because I have a V trailer, and it was good to see that.

We're glad you liked it! The more washers that are added, the greater the rearward tilt of the ball and the more force is applied to the spring bars. By any chance, was the cargo trailer you used in your demonstration from Quality Cargo? And what size was the trailer?

Got figure he didint show getting those bars onto the L brackets. I’m sure that was a chore with 8 head angle spacers and the L brackets on the middle holes 😂

It's pretty easy to do. Hitch up the trailer and connect the bars to the weight distribution head. Use the trailer jack to lift the front of the trailer and the rear suspension of the tow vehicle.
