Nice. Sanford & Son is another fun one. Back in the 80s I played in a band where we used to open the second set with the S&S theme song. A surprising instant hit with the audience.

Awesome cover of the bass line. I’m away from my bass and that the piano right now. It sounds like you’re sliding into the following notes before the vocals kick in: A C# F# A# E G# A C# Is that correct? Really want to learn this for my kids. They love the song and the show.

I just picked up a bass and slid up to the notes you listed...that's pretty close & pretty good. I didn't go for specific notes, just feel. But that's a pretty good transcription. Sorry this is late, hopefully you already got a good feel for it for your kids.

No, on the Stingrays I use Ernie Ball roundwounds. I EQ'd a lot of treble out with the tone knob(s) and recording software. Though it probably also matters that the strings are a few months old.
