Congrats! Did you need an external battery pack for the gopro, or what type of battery got you through to full footage? Many of your racing compadres could not fathom these extra grams and aero penalty 🤪 - you toasted most of them anyway... kudos!

Yeah, used a small external USB battery pack for the GoPro and taped it to the bars. A little weight penalty, but gotta get that sweet race footage!

10 similarly matched guys in the chase group. Also, it's tougher to get a clean breakaway in the snow due to slower speeds than road bikes, so the chances are higher that you'll have groups that stick closer together.

GoPro Hero 10 camera was used and then used Garmin Virb Edit to create the overlays in the post processing of the video.

@@NathanLong I envy you guys out there in the snow belt during the winter. Such great Fatbike courses and grooming. I just begrudgingly sold my Beargrease because we no longer get snow here downstate in NY and because we have no groomed trail system here anyway.🥹

Studs yes, between 5-9 psi probably

Some yes, some no. No ice, so studs were not needed. I did not run studs and had the tires at 6psi.
