Fat Mike joined Stryker on the Tuna on Toast Podcast.
Mike gives details on the soon to be opened Punk Rock Museum in Las Vegas.
Some of the owners include Brett Gurewitz, Fletcher from Pennywise, Mark Hoppus, Tim Armstrong, Pat Smear.

Looking forward to seeing the inclusion of the LVHC scene bands: Subterfuge, Self Abuse, A.W.O.L., Fuck Shit Piss, Triple Ripple, RZM, Abeyance, Agua Fritas, Atomic Gods, F8, Junkie Nuns, MIA, Schizoid, PWT, and so many horrible others. We had an amazing scene back when NOBODY came to Vegas for music.

Hey i won a Guitar from KROQ back in the 80's and it is a autographed Sawed in Half from Wendy O. Williams. I would like to donate the guitar if you guys are interested. She sawed it in half with a chain saw at the station than took a fork and autographed it to Tom XXX Wendy, I have heard she did this more than once but always gave away half to one person and half to another. I got lucky and got the whole Guitar in two pieces.....

Maybe we can apply to Fat Mike that at least he puts The Distillers into his museum. Someone from our group just visited and The Distillers are not there. We guess that you know them and that Mike knows them. They are one of the defining punk bands of our time, from music to voice to songwriting they are quite outstanding to say the least. Their new album is finished, and withheld because of the demanding divorce case of the singer. People widely believe The Distillers are actively being dismissed by Fat Mike because of personal differences between Rancid's and The Distillers' Front members - which has caused a destructive polarisation in the punk community - musicians and audience alike. Well, the people around do not think that. Fat Mike so far seems are very community committed guy having good punk ethics in his DNA, but the tragic history along the Rancid singer divorce from the Distillers singer was basically an active destruction of the community spirit among U.S. punk bands, to keep it that objective. Long Issue short: Maybe ask Fat Mike what the difficulty with The Distillers is? - - - Paramore are of diverse influences, but the Distillers for example are fully legit and iconic punk of our time. Why are they not in Fat Mike's display? - ? - ?

Better off without em! They forgot their roots almost as soon. As they got signed. Only when it was convenient, did they care. They agreed to do warped tour and slum it when their album failed. Not cause they cared about their fans seeing them in a more intimate setting.

My god, in the 38 years I've been alive, this conversation has never stopped. It was the same thing when "punkers" started charging for people to enter shows. It's music. Stop crying about who's "punk", you don't write the rules, and as long as I've been alive, nobody has a rule book we all have to follow. Thank God. Black Flag sucks ass, DK was good with Jello, and really, who cares?
