Govt needs to educate public on how to handle a body during an accident... You can't just lift them like that... Can cause serious damage to the spine etc ... Should always let medics with proper knowledge handle extracting bodies and using proper stretchers ... I'm sure there has already been cases where people could have survived accidents but died due to the way they were extracted and taken to the hospital

Lemme tell you, the ambulance was just passing by with no proper gear and was off duty, they had no stretchers or wheel chairs to lift the body, all they could do was lift the body by themself.

I've been driving for so many years now and what I've observed so far is that many drivers never slow down at the intersection junction. The road may be empty but if you slow down your car at every junction, regardless of any car coming from the opposite direction, the possibility of accident occurrence will be less. I strongly believe this is the need of the hour to educate every driver to slow down at every intersection roads. Obey traffic rules, there's only ONE LIFE.

Very sad news. The district authorities of dimapur, chumu and Niuland should install cctv cameras on all strategic points such as highway junctions, train, bus/taxi/auto stands, and at all check gates so that accidents, missing persons, vehicle thefts, criminals etc can be quickly tracked. AI technology should also be used to help the law enforcement agencies. When people are aware that there are eyes watching from above they will be careful not to break the law.

As a driver and rider, I feel in this case probably the fault from both the drivers, the biker should not take U turn or right turn if there’s a car coming from the other direction and also the car also shouldn’t be speeding and should’ve been aware of his surroundings better and that since the bike is already crossing the road and should’ve just let him pass by, I mean c’mon it’s a 4 lane, if the rider crossed to the left lane, go from the right lane, or vice versa. Also bikers should just accelerate and go away from danger if such situation happens.
