This new REV system is definitely interesting and thats putting it lightly. Obviously the cancels is a nice aspect of it but I especially like the fact that even in overheat you aren't totally locked out of the mechanics of the game. You arent able to do your rev moves sure but you both have ways to speed up the cool down as well has being able to still just defend and hyper defend. That way you arent just helpless. Ive also gone back and played some more Garou but also Real bout 2 and the feints are really cool. Great explanation

I’m glad you liked the video, thanks a lot for your support 🙂 Some say that playing in overheat is going to be like playing the old MotW, the only difference is that you shouldn’t be able to use rev blow even if in SPG. It’s nice we don’t lose every skill in overheat but I think this game is gonna hit hard on corner pressure. Mechanics are there to help but you need to understand how to use em properly since you don’t have a button to get out of the corner for free. Corners are going to be even scarier this time..
