@@walternelson2687 the fuck are you on about dude? do you really think we're listening to the radio for Post Malone and Lil Xan? i do listen to new music but there's a lot of garbage out there. all we are saying is that there was no spotify back then and the internet was very new so MTV was one of the few choices for discovering music, i remember one late night here in Beirut in 2001 i was studying for an exam and music video came on MTV and i was mesmerized by the music and the visuals and it was Tool's Schism, the next day i after school i bought the album and been a fan since and on June 10 i'm flying to see them for the first time in Vienna

Man I so miss the cassette era, it was so tactile. Having to slot it into your walkman, slapping the door close, the big clunky buttons, needing to flip the cassette or manually rewind it. It felt like I was maintaining a gun while growing as a 90s kid. Modern digital touch screen stuff just feels lifeless in comparison.

мне 33 я в той же хате сижу,только через ютуб пересматриваю,а раньше канал Viva ловился на кабельном в начале 00ых вместо него кажется другой какой то канал запустили ,там показывали музыку со всего мира,я угорал с польского репа,до сих пор помню Glucha noc Peja feat. There is a "Making of..." video of how they made this. They filmed this in Grenada, and they actually built and destroyed an entire town market for the video. For the weird dance scenes they attached long poles to the actors' arms and hips and yanked them all over the place. The poles were pained blue so they can be easily removed in post.

The clip is fire🔥 I've been laughing like a horse since it appeared on video cassettes. Somewhere on KZbin there is a film of how it was filmed. He makes me laugh even more. especially with the heroes. or how a huge man dragged them with a stick tied to his belt to depict all these wild dances🤦😄😄😄 he also broke the wall with the body of one of the heroes.
