This song just reminds me of my younger days, post millennium, so many great songs, music. Now, almost a quarter of a century on, here i am ,older, recovering from a heart attack, still loving life, still loving this sing, but missing my youth and how immortal you felt when you were younger.

Sad to hear that you faced health issues. I'm happy to hear that you still enjoy this song. I'm a middle-aged man who started motorcycling this summer. I enjoy the song and try to get the best out of me RE (Royal Enfield) with this song in my head 🙂 I know what you mean by being immortal in younger years. It is part of this lifelong arcade game( I guess). Sorry about the bad English, all good to you.

You've nailed it right there. Jim Morrison got upgraded to the 21st century by Fat boy Slim. I was wandering around at Glastonbury and there he was at this small bar; blink and you'd miss it. Guess who was on the decks? Fat Boy Slim. Man I was blown away. It was like 50-60 of us and this genius (and I don't use that word lightly). Was there owning it. You'd think he was playing for 10,000 people, not just us. That was a moment man. It was the year that Dolly Parton kicked ass to hundreds of thousands of people. 2014 I think.

I first saw this as a kid. All I remembered was that it had a jet pilot in it. I just didn't understand what it was about until re-watching it as an adult now. In 1964, the time that the world got the closest to widespread nuclear war, the pilot is thinking about that anti-nuke campaign ad. And he has a hallucination / nightmare about being asked to start nuclear Armageddon , when he goes AWOL, possibly as a reaction to real life memories of bombing campaigns in southeast Asia. It's an anti-war video. I was too young to understand that plot as a kid! It's not just pretty visuals, it's a brilliant short film!
