Little update, my wife and I are finally going to see Nick play in Boston in June. It will be surreal to see him perform live about as far away from Alaska as he could get in the States. To see his hard work, passion and dedication pay off is inspiring. Nowadays even with a million ways to connect with artists, I’ve never felt more disconnected to most of them. But with Nick, it feel real, authentic, and brutally honest. In a world where everyone try’s to show off themselves as something they’re not, it’s refreshing to see someone like Nick show you the deeper parts of his childhood and life and it’s something you really just don’t get anymore.
