There really is no reason they can't just have this game on consoles. It's not like you NEED to have the physical cards and if anything it would make the arcade version keep its allure while making them cash overseas too

Nope. Arcade system with gacha way more profitable, especially in japan. If ported to console all those arcade players will play console ver instead too lol. Only scenario i can see is when FGO arcade popularity and income not as big anymore in the future (coz ppl bored or etc), and they starting to do another big project. Then they might release FGOAC on console as final push of revenue from FGOAC.

@@invertbrid all arcades took a huge hit this last year and a half because of the pandemic. I live in Japan and whenever I see arcades they're like ghost towns. Also fighting games prove that home editions are more profitable than arcades because people like to play from home. idk why you think a couple hundred cabinets in one country would be more profitable than every single console on the planet having access to it

@@MidgarMerc hoo i see, well i dunno their actual data so yea. But gacha in japan pretty big as far as i know so more ppl will be more willing to gacha for the cards in FGOAC? I heard the cost of playing it not cheap also. So yea prob thats why they want to keep this up, at least for foreseeable future. If the profit not as big like u said, they wouldnt keep this arcade up for several years already u know. Tho im sure this will be ported at some point to console, that is when not much profit anymore from FGOAC arcade. Then they will port it to console. So there is still hope.
