To say that one is more boring and the other more complex is ridiculous considering that both of them have the same basic backstory, character, and motivations for the HGW. Altria wants to save her kingdom via redoing her kingship from scratch until 4th Fuyuki HGW happened and she decides to make it so she was never king at all. Arthur on the other hand wishes to create an everlasting utopia for his people, which in hindsight is the same basic motivation that the Lion King shares only the latter takes it to the logical extreme. Is it the fact that Arthur basically the perfect pretty boy that you say what you did? Cause that's basically Altria too only she's more reserved nobility compared to Arthur's cheery gentleman. They're also both gluttons (though Altria is more pronounced and Arthur can actually cook for himself), have the same basic likes and dislikes (in that neither of them can think of anything to say), and at heart are knights willing to lay their lives down for the cause. In that sense there's no difference between them aside from one appealing more as a waifu and the other as a husbando. @ThatTastedPurple Same goes to you. I personally like Arthur more myself but that don't mean I'd put him above Altria or anything. If anything they're both equally great but for reasons that differ. For me, Altria's great in that she's a deconstruction of the King Arthur legend and her guilt complex makes for some entertaining personal drama. Arthur on the other hand is great because he's the ideal King Arthur, the one who perseveres against the odds to such a point it makes me wonder what could truly break him considering he has a cheery personality despite what he experienced in his backstory.
