I'm still amazed how the six heroes venture forth without a cleric or paladin. Just shows you don't always need such classes to have a fun party dynamic.

Or a Bard Like cleric and paladin I don't think are necessary for most groups (although both are powerful classes), but adventuring without a bard is much harder, so much damage mitigation/avoidance and battlefield control

@@ADT1995 I think the interesting thing is that they don't have any kind of divine magic. The closest to that is Veo's spellcasting as a ranger and that's not a lot.

@@KnicKnac CC was the reason I put bard over cleric for keeping a party alive But yeah when I play wizard I go all out for crowd control. I think I've literally only prepared one damage dealing spell with my current wizard (disintegrate) When I played bard in our last campaign I was a lore Bard so I ended up picking all the spells that I missed with magical secrets (web and slow... This was before slow was on the bard spell list), so bards may not actually be as good at CC as I remembered, and the CC that I had may have just been unique to my character. I personally feel like CC is what wins encounters, and probably the best compliment I ever got from a DM was when she told me she didn't gauge the party's strength by our hit points or hit dice remaining, but instead by the number of spell slots I have left (and I wasn't the only full caster in that group)

This encounter was SPECTACULAR Monty. The combination of trap, puzzle and combat encounter was a thing of genius and very on point for the Queen of Thieves. Easily one of my favorites that you have ever uploaded and I’ve watch them all.

With Spelljammer having just been announced, I think it’d be cool if the next step after Drakkenheim is going into space to find the source of (and/or stop) these eldritch meteors that have been striking planets and infecting them with Delerium. Kinda like Metroid Prime 3 with going to other planets and destroying the Leviathan seeds infecting them.

After 2 hearts and and corner diamond, this puzzle is solvable. Each row has 1 similar shapes, so that leads to 2 bottom rows, also looking at other side same applies, so there is only 2 possible slots left. 3rd row the last one and last row the 3rd one. It's a picture remembering game with sudoku twist.

If all are needed to be flipped, it can be done after the point all diamonds are flipped as they have played... Also kill one elemental at the time before flipping other suit, so you don't have to fight them all at once...

I was low-key thinking the hideout would be all the way on another continent, one of those mentioned in the previous campaign. Though this location obviously makes sense too. Fittingly, this time one really couldn't say they didn't walk themselves right into this one. Though, of course, there was probably a trap with the solution suggestion or it was false to begin with. Either way, nice work on Monty's part permitting some of those clever tactical uses of stuff. And Joe saving the day by proving just how genius his last spell list expansion was. I do hope at least one of the expanded gang will learn a way to use teleports sometime.

I finally managed to catch up with the campaign. I can't sit and watch a livestream but I can definitely listen to the podcast while at work. I gotta say I'm really enjoying it, and I wanted to "vent" (maybe that word sounds hostile lol) some ideas: I'm happy that both parties stopped blindly doing everything the Academy asked them to do (I mean, not exactly, but kinda). Like, the mages built a bomb and handed it to some random adventurers, they sold delerium to a bunch of people and then tried to hide the consequences of delerium, they also kinda brainwash their students and then run away when something goes south. Ever since operation super shield was mentioned, Eldrick started saying the Academy would choose if someone can enter or not (totally not ominous). I never understood why they always sided with the Academy even when it was clear they were being used. Well, maybe it's because Sebastian always changed the subject every time Pluto started doubting them. Also, the Dusk Wardens were thinking about saving people and didn't really pay attention to what the Academy was plotting behind the scenes, so now they have the elvens towers, the geode, the last (?) elf and a lot of power. I'm not bashing on the players, of course. I'm just pointing out something I've noticed since season 1. Finally, I just wanna say I would totally side with Lucretia just to get Argonath back lol. They are trying to stop the Elyrians but those people want to destroy the delerium, while the Academy clearly won't let it happen. There's no way both factions are going to agree on that

Watching people fail at obvious puzzles amuses me :) The grids were built like Soduko where ther'es no repeat in each line so I knew where the hearts were when they flipped that corner diamond. Once ya know where they are the electicity is less of an issue. :) Wrath's Mass Suggestion was the best!
