Fate/Stay Night Selector Ticket! Who should you pick?

Forgive the speculation as this was recorded before the live stream this morning! This is an interesting ticket. I do think they could have made it a bit more interesting by including other characters, but I get it. Still will you choose for gameplay or favoritism? The choice is yours! Are you guys excited for the Stay Night VN remake that got announced? Happy 20th Anniversary FSN!

I do feel they could have given this to us in NA early, since it's for the celebration of the 20th anniversary (would kinda lose its special meaning if we got it 2 years from now)

It's not a remake. It's a remaster. Basically just port of Vita version to new platforms + official translation.

Another great thing about Herc is that he's incredible in grail fronts. He can stall and he can straight up delete enemies in that type of event so certainly doesn't hurt picking him up even if it is for NP upgrades.

I don't have Herc, NP2 Seiba would be nice, but I am seriously tempted for the low-star CEs just because they seriously need more love. Kojiro and Medea in particular have been neglected by the game, and the former is my favorite of the OG cast along with Cu. One good thing if it takes two years for NA, maybe my decision will be easier by then.

90% of people will take Saber. 5% will choose their favourite OG for the CE. Cu, Rider... 3% will choose Heracles. 2% will choose Kojiro because they think it's funny to meme.

1. I already have everyone here so nobody would e a new unit. 2. I use Salter > Artoria (personal preferences + her insane Anni8 buff). 3. Heracles is my favorite servant in the game but being a perma. 4-star really hurts his 120-availability (coin rework when). Heracles is the easy choice for me.

If Altria Alter were on the list, I would have chosen her. Since she is not, I chose my original Fate waifu: Medusa.

Funny enough I just realized that I have everyone except Saber. Gil was my first 5 star, archer was my newbie summon servant and Herc I got him in a random pull. lol But yeah since the frist momment I decided saber due the fact a free 5 star is a free 5 star!

Too bad archer gilamash isn't on it since he should be oh well. I pray that the card essence and the units can be chosen independently of each other. Cu is my favorite but I know getting the 5 star is better for my account even though I haven't gotten Hercules yet either.

Fortunately I already have a HerkNP2 with bond ce, so I'll go with the NP2 of Artoria.

Even though I must come out and state the obvious, *cough *cough no Animation Updates for Cu/Emiya/Medea/Medusa/Hercules or even simpler, buffs specifically to Medea and Medusa, the fact that they are giving you a ticket to choose any of those units for free "barely" makes up for it for a 20 year celebration. And well the fact that finally Nasu opened hell's doors and we are getting FSN on Steam and other platforms. Personally I expected more of such a "celebration". Gameplay wise I will agree Saber just wins by a mile, if not even for aesthetics. She has gotten multiple buffs, and she will get more in the future, and also has gotten an iconic modern Animation Update with some unique things here and there, aka when you choose her attack cards she is the only servant in the game (I think!?) that assumes a completely different battle position with her 2D sprite, yet an iconic one on that. Hercules does come second in line as his usability as you mentioned derives mostly from his Bond CE, so even at NP1 he is extremely strong on what he does. Also yeah 60x SQ from this campaign sure is very nice. Still the developers are very deep into the barrel, they have to do a lot more to get back the good will of the players and improve the game overall. At this point if it was not for the IP and maybe the "Story" people would have left FGO in a mass exodus.....

This is two years away for me (hopefully less), but in practice the only servant among this list I *don't* have at NP5 is Seiba - and she's NP4. So that kinda narrows down my choice a bit. XD

Eh, I feel like adding Limited Servants would have been a bit much. Artoria Alter would have been a good add. Illya, no, but Sitonai, maybe, though she's not exactly FSN material.

Maybe not limited but they could have added story locked servants like Emiya alter. Sure not exactly F/SN material but most people will pick the free Saber unless they already have her

Wait a sec, 3 turn farming affect negatively on bond farming?

What he means is that, if you're 3-turning, your main damage dealing Servant(s) are most likely going to need a CE that gives starting charge, damage, or most likely both. And therefore you can't give them a bond boosting CE. So it's not that it effects it negatively, but just that, in most cases it won't be as optimal as possible. The only real exception is if your farmer can effectively 3-turn with literally ANY CE.

First off, I refuse to refer to her as "Artoria". Her name is Arthur every other servant got to keep their names despite the gender swap. Arthur is no exception. Samething with "Mash" her name is "Matthew" or "Matt" for short. "Mash" is just the way her name sounds in Japanese because they can't pronounce "T" by itself and "Mash" or "Mashu" is as close as they can get to pronouncing "Matt/Matthew". Secondly, f**k Funimation, it's their fault that names in anime and translations get so screwed up and wrong. They did this with characters from DBZ too like Kurilin, Bloomers and ShenLONG. Funimation sucks as a company and they only started to give an ounce of a damn when they dubbed Kai. They've scammed their fans with cheap/bad looking/rendering half-assed DVD/VHS copies of their anime they dubbed for YEARS! And they get the f**king pass why?!
