I like it but they could have made it smaller since they aren't using full size gimbals. Hope they make a gamepad style controller like this with the screen and VRX.

Wow very cool product, a radio with a fpv receiver. This is awesome for analog guys to quickly check camera angle, video signal. etc. Or even peeps that do not use goggles. Great product and great review, agree with the digital / HDMI connector!!!!!

It does look a little weird with the little gimbals but I like it. Nice that it has the color screen. My daily remote is the qx7 with the express elrs module. I would switch to this for the screen

I always fly fixed wings via a radio mounted monitor, but 868 modules interfer with analog video receivers, so I need to separate those by at least 12 to 15 inches to get usable range. Still, this one is probably fine for close range flights like touch-and-go practice. Thanks for bringing it to our attention.

Thanks for the review. Was wondering what a good use case for the integrated screen would be. I guess for solo flyers that don't have a spotter and need to be able to maintain line of site and have the screen as well. The other would be for more 'mapping' purposes. For work, I 'fly' a Mavic 3 and will just reference the video on the remote during a mapping flight. I think your comment of fixed wing use is probably the best use for this though. Cheers!

I would love this feature. Been trying to get my TS 16S to do it for weeks. I have balance issues due to Ms which makes it hard to wear goggles and stand up at the same time.

I've been using a 5" Hawkeye monitor bolted to my radio for FPV for years now and find it workable. One of the fatfish radios would probably work for me too.

I would have loved this in 2017 when I was starting to fly FPV. I think as well as surface FPV it is great for indoor whoop flights. Just chuck it in a bag with a whoop and battery packs!

Can't seem to find the ELRS module power. Anyone know the wattage of the internal ELRS module tx?

@@GeorgeN49 That's pretty good then. My TX12 is only 250mw and I feel it at times like going around the house I'll failsafe with a ceramic antenna on the quad so I consider 500 or 1000mw to be ideal.

First glance, meh. Hmmm🤔 built in fpv screen, interesting. External receiver that can be use in the jr bay or as a ground station, cool👍. The price seems reasonable for what you're getting if you want that built in video screen. The price is close enough to the Radiomaster tx16s MK11, that if you don't need the screen I'd definitely go Radiomaster. It is great having options, I see comments of people who are excited about this product. Happy flying everyone. 😎
