I gotta say I was pleasantly suprised at how well this maiden went after the build being such a struggle. This plane has a lot of fun potential!!

Lots of great info. Thank you! I think I can see Arcadia off in the distance, where wifey taught high school for 15 years prior to hurricane Charley.

Thanks for sharing! Yeah that was a wild night. I lived in Lake Wales the night Charley hit. There were rumors that Bok Tower had fallen, but they were just rumors! Thanks for visiting!

That was nice Greg, sometimes I have rates on the elevator just for landing to help keep the tail down 👍

Good tip! I think I will add some of the weight to the tail and mechanically have the level trim of the tail actually a little up in flight.

Dynams are for advanced foamie builders. With Dynams once you get over the initial build and getting them trimmed out, your often left with a very durable good flying plane.

The jolly Petrinsic Bros said that model needed a lot of rudder input to turn and that the ailerons were used to bank and level wings. I would use rudder/aileron mix with plenty of rudder throw for casual flying and switch it off when not wanted. The problems with access to receiver and servos, after mounting wings, is pretty much the same with all biplane models, You shouldn't need to remove top wing though.

Seems like every Dynam plane I see could use more product development before releasing it to the public. Most of the build videos I see are a lesson in making something work that should be a simple click and screw. Entertaining but completely offsetting toward the product for me. It's a shame since most seem to fly well after the assembly headache has passed.

Its been that way with Dynams for so long that now its part of their charm. If you like a build challenge then get a Dynam. The other issue is often they offer planes that no one else will.
