Kuro Neko to be honest many animal parents have better hearts and are better parents than human parents. There are many case where parents sometimes kill their children or ditch them. Many don't take much care as well and later result it the children failing university and all those crap. I know some animals eat their children but that's for a good reason that I don't exactly know but you can search up webs if ur curious. But it's not out of the selfish heart.

Female cats NEVER deliberately kill kittens. Cats are very protective mothers, probably the best mothers of all species. You've obviously not had much experience at all with cats. Sometimes the males do kill kittens, but this is rare. Normally females won't let males anywhere near their kittens, but there are exceptions. I used to live in an area where the feral cats pair bonded. The males were docile and paternal and helped to care for kittens, even though they couldn't always be certain of being the biological father (several males can father different kittens of the same litter).

He was the gentlest tom cat Ive ever had, even his younger siblings pretend to breastfeed from him which was so odd and funny but he passed away last year.

She went on to have two litters. Sorry to say they were born, they were bold. And she ate the first litter. She went on to have a second litter. One we kept. We called snowy. He went to feral. Beautiful cat. Quite large completely white with a bit of grey, my father was walking our dog one day. Freeway. When he saw snowy. It has been over you and he'd gone wild. My father noticed him. Called his name. He went over to my father straight away. They went back in the bushes. He came out with his lady cat and babies. As if to say I am okay I've made a nice life. And then he was gone. Plus my cats different ones over the years I've always got on with one dog. Have a lovely day

Not always. I had one that would attack out of nowhere, biting so hard I had teethmarks on my arm and when I pulled back she literally hung on my arm with her teeth. The shelter then said they would need to find her a home where she could go outside and asked me to return her. I live in an appartment where cats can't go outside. Or back in. I do feel bad still 13 years later but it was probably best for both parties. I now only adopt cats that are true indoor cats. Never had any problems with all 4 I had in succession after. (Of which I have my current senior almost 1,5y now and with his birthday coming up he'll be 19y and still fully healthy 😀😀😊).

Aw reminds me of my big ginger cat khimari... r.i.p papas. he always had a paternal instinct in him, tried helping me take care of a litter of 5 kittens I found abandoned in the yard. It might seem odd to us but I just think it's cause we haven't fully gotten to know and appreciate these awesome creatures..there's more to them than meets the eye.. I even had a pet mouse(Bernard) who took care of his litter of 12, poor little bugger was so tired but he was always there when his lady(Bianca) needed him to help. Mine was very loving to his wife cat. when she was giving birth, he was there beside her. I had to help too because it's her 1st time to give birth. Contrary to the video, my cat hiss at the kittens but a loving mate to his partner. He get close to his kittens only when they are all running. That cat in the video is awesome!!

I have a large male cat that's like that. He pretty much takes over a father role for any baby or young animal, kitten, puppy, rabbit, you name it, that is brought in. They'll usually be the ones to lash out at him but hours later he'd win them over and cuddle them. It's surreal I've never known a male cat to be as long as he is toward other animals outright and I've had four or five male cats in my life. He's a very loving and amazing kitty.

TheStepmonkey a dislike brings up "I don't like (duh) this". Some because they feel the pain of not having had a dad like that. But why press dislike? I'd press like and possibly comment. I have had issues myself but I can still separate this cute video from my own life-experiences and see the beauty of it. If you can't then life is a difficult task for you and maybe you should consider some good counselling so you (whoever dislikes because of their issues) won't have to be triggered all the time into pain, anger, jealousy or whatever it is you feel and then take the negative route with it.

As a domesticated species, they may have less of many instincts, since they don't don't depend on them to survive so much. In the wild any male cat(except a lion) will kill any kitten he encounters, even his own. Many domestic toms will too.

I have seen this happen. My daughter in law raises symese cats. The male cat, fathering 2 litters at a time is so caring to both mothers & babies. Was wondering maybe because, he is in close proximity to them in a house..? It is absolutely beautiful to watch him with them.
