Kitten Raised by a Golden Retriever Start Acting Like Tiny Pup After One Month

Had a rabbit who was raised from a very young age by my dog, can confirm they adopt the characteristics of the parent animal. He’d pant, roll over, lick people, drink from the dog bowl instead of his own water, when he realized he was too smol to also eat dog biscuits he’d kidnap them and hoard them in his cage, etc. he’d also rip up newspaper to make bedding next to his cage so the dog could sleep next to him. I miss those two goobers.

I had the opposite. We had one of our dogs have a litter of 3 puppies, and my cat always guarded them. When they opened their eyes, they started following her and playing her. She ran in her cat tunnel, they chase and follow her. They learned how to jump onto some high places, they learned to get on the backs of sofas and balance themselves on thin walkways. Heck, they even pick up their legs and clean themselves sometimes. Even my older dog (4 years old) started copying my cat. She may be gone, but these 4 dogs always have her habits.

Only a golden retriever owner will appreciate this story: my first golden named 'Christabelle' brought home a 24 hour old tiny creature. It's eyes were shut. it was some kind of small mammal. A mouse? A rat,? Anyway, we raised this creature. I got up every 3 hours for 10 days straight to feed it. Sure enough after about a week we realized it was a baby wild Eastern Cottontail rabbit. I successfully raised her and she lived with us her whole life. Golden's have a specially designed mouth that does not injure. This is how special they are. The baby rabbits got flooded out of their nest and our golden brought us the only baby that survived.

My cat was already an adult when we brought in home my dog which was still a baby... And she raised him surpringly without being envious that he was taking her place and eating her food "he was very hard to teach he was taking everything from her" but despite that she would play with him just like this video, only she would put him down and beat him in their fake fights cause he was still little and she even hit him with her paw when we scolded him... As he grew she couldn't bring him down anymore but started to actually fall down and pretend he is losing to her while she fake bites his neck as if she can still beat him just like when he was a baby

I found an abandoned cat one day, and the first day we brought him home, our dog just kept staying next to him, he even agreed to share his food bowl (something he never did before with any other animals).
