Well unfortunately my son left the faith. It was after a Homily about how Jesus told us to love one another. The words of the Homily were really good unfortunately they didn't put Jesus words into action. There was a homeless person on the church property some ushers from the church ushered the homeless person off the property. My son saw the whole thing. He went over to the homeless person and apologized for their behavior and gave the homeless person 20 bucks. My son than told me he could never step foot into that church again as the hypocrisy spoke louder than then the words of Jesus. He then said do any churches really follow Gods words or are their ears just being tickled?

My 30 year old son Luke has been completely intoxicated by the material ways of the world so much so that he asked me for vaccination proof before I can see my newly born granddaughter. I am also getting the feeling that he won't be baptising his child and instead having a pagan naming ceremony under a tree! I'm really distressed about all of this.

The Mass is NOT a time to be cutesy, sing broadway show tunes, etc. I spent years at our NO parish, trying to “make it work”. When I attended my first TLM on Epiphany 2017, I wept. Brothers and sisters, I have known Fr. Jerry for over 20 years. I met him at a time when my Catholic faith was challenged. I have many Christian friends of other denominations. My Mother was a baptist. I was ready to leave The Catholic Church. But then we discovered life teen at Saint John’s in Naples Florida. We met Father Jerry and Father Steven, their upbeat way of holding mass kept me in the Catholic Church. I love the tradition of the church, but I also understand that there is much more to the relationship that we have with Christ. It is just that a relationship. The breathing is a meditation to calm one and to focus, to bring our attention to the one who is at the center of mass, Jesus. If we are the body of Christ, the church, the bride, this body it’s not just the Catholic Church, it is many denominations of the Christian faith. It is many churches, each one reaching, having an impact on those and its circle of influence. Just as though we may not fit in and a particular job we can find another office to work at, so to another Church where our relationship with God can flourish. This doesn’t mean that church is not reaching someone, that’s not bringing them back to the Catholic faith, it does not mean that it’s leading people astray. The mission of the church is not to be about the church but to be about Christ, and it is where we meet Him. “For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.” (Matt. 18:19-20.)

The strange thing about the Novus Ordo church we went to before, is that many of the people there seemed to really enjoy it. They liked the entertainment and the attention they received there. They completely missed the fact that the “Holy Sacrifice of the Mass” is supposed to be about God, not them. God bless you for spreading the real “good news”!

You nailed it here!! The Praise and Glory of God is the sole purpose of keeping Holy the Lord’s Day. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass is our sole salvation. The New Order Mass (Novus Ordo) serves man, not God, as do Protestant church services. So many lost souls, professing to be Christian today, do not understand how far removed they are from Christ by their self serving private biblical interpretation and turning away from tradition.

Yes, I used to go to a parish with fr. Jerry, and he did put on a great show. I remember liking it because there are the other NO masses where everyone just stares ahead like a zombie and the music is mind numbingly awful, you just want it to stop. That has to be intentional imho. But Fr. Jerry is a talented musician and would make the music enjoyable, and he would sing the consecration. So yeah, people liked it, considering the choices.

Sadly this parish is about 35 minutes away from where I live which is in North Port Florida. I have heard over the last 10 to 15 years that this church is very liberal and many people have walked away from that church. I would say in the last 15 years of my Catholic faith my eyes have been opened up to the truth because of KZbinrs like Dr. Taylor Marshall. I am happy and blessed to say that yesterday. Dr Marshall, I started going to the traditional Latin Jan 1st, and I swear I wasn't going back to the novus ordo, but my car had a minor issue so I couldn't drive the half hour to get there so I went to my regular parish which is novus ordo and I tell you Dr Marshall it didn't feel the same and from now with no more issues, I'm staying with the Latin rite. Hello there Dr. Marshal, I was in your exact place 6 years ago. Involved deeply in our Catholic Church, when our Priest walked up to the lecture stand and expressed that the Mass, the Creed and the Lord's prayer were being changed again. Lord forgive me, but my family raised up and walked out of mass and never looked back. This wasn't the rock we were promised. Four months later my wife and I walked into a ROCOR Orthodox Church to check out their Vespers. It was everything the Father's talked about. The reverence, grace and beauty. Christ was present along with all the heavenly hosts. The service was so overwhelming I cried uncontrollably. Lord Jesus Christ Have Mercy on Me a Sinner.

I was just praying day 5 of the Divine Mercy Novena after watching this video. I went back to it because what I am praying is tearing at my heart. Here it is. Eternal Father, turn Your merciful gaze upon the souls of those who have separated themselves from Your Son's Church, who have squandered Your blessings and misused Your graces by obstinately persisting in their errors. Do not look upon their errors, but upon the love of Your own Son and upon His bitter Passion, which He underwent for their sake, since they, too, are enclosed in His Most Compassionate Heart. Bring it about that they also may glorify Your great mercy for endless ages. Amen. All I can imagine is His flesh and heart being torn apart by the likes of Father Jerry. We are supposed to be in that parish!!! He has been doing this for years! He caters to the wealthy community. In his homily this past Christmas he stated that the Virgin Mother had to suffer through labor pains and She was NOT a Virgin after giving birth to Jesus!!! He sent everyone a text message. We went there a few times when we moved here, little did we know!! But we knew it was not of God. AND there is NO Crusifix on, above, or ANYWHERE on the alter!!! I am watching this Father Jerry Kaywell he is a composer and, also a producer former ...Won some kind of a Grammy, played with all the big names in Hollywood! Two-time cancer survivor.. I can't believe he's a pastor of Sacred Heart.. I live 30 miles from Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Aberdeen South Dakota it is no where near what this is.. I was laughing at what seems to be his craziness but, people in his Parish obviously like this... 10 minutes of this of my going to Mass would cause me to get up and walk out ...I really don't know what to make of this except he needs a lot of prayers!

I used to attend a NO but couldn't stomach it anymore. I remember at Christmas the lady was playing Christmas tunes on the piano and she would say, "and another favorite of mine is....." Like it was entertainment, it turned my stomach. I could write a book on the appalling things we suffered through at this Church. We even went to another Church thinking it would be better, it was just as worse. We finally learned of the TLM and have never looked back.

We were at a spiritual warfare this weekend with Fr. Chad Ripperger and it was worth every penny! ❤ However, one of the host on Saturday towards the end of the conference he announced a couple of Masses that people can attend. One of them was a Anglican Ordinarite Mass that he likes to attend. So, low and behold we decided to go because we've never been to one. And boy oh boy!!! Did I regret it 🤔 The priest before he talked on his homily he had to mention to us who didn't know him that he was married. I even over heard him at the conference outside jokingly with someone about his wife.. When I heard him i thought that was weird that he would say something like that. And the prayers are totally different. That'll be my first and last time attending this type of Mass. This priest here is just plain blasphemy 😒 towards the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.

It was hosted by Virgin Most Powerful podcast. My husband is a religiously fan of Jesse and Terry's show. Not to knock out Dr. Taylor Marshall shows because these are the warriors of God shows that we all need on these difficult times. The conference was packed and they had a long waiting list only 5 people were able to get in. They even had people standing. They plan to have another one next year with same people and Bishop Strickland. We are already planning for that one. I was hoping DTM would be amother secret special guest so I can get my book signed. 😇🙏

My husband and I were at the Spiritual Warfare Conference too! It was so enlightening. Fr.Rippinger is so beautiful! We went to a church for the TLM in Ontario, only 15 minutes away. It is a beautiful historical diocesan church called San Secondo D'Asti. The young priest was amazing. Packed mass at 2:30 in the afternoon. We live in Vegas. We will being going to mass at that church when visiting the local area from now on.

I’m very fortunate. We left our regular NO parish. But I also found not only a wonderful FSSP parish but a very orthodox NO parish here in California. I prefer the Latin Mass and so far our bishop has been fully supportive. But we also have the NO Mass with two very holy and devout your priests when my husband or daughter prefer to go to the local NO Mass.
