Summary: 1. Cold Showers (try to hit forhead) 2. Limit bright/blue light exposure throughout day 3. Intermittent Fasting (frequency being situational) 4. Quality Sleep (blue light blockers before bed, blackout room, raise head of bed, don't use bright/blue lights if you get up) 5. Gratitude Like so others can recap!

Thank you! Been doing all of these 5 things for 6 weeks, truly feel like a new person! As an extension, I would like to add the following: 1. Sauna + cold showers 3 times a week. And, a cold bath, for as long as you can, once a week. 2. Prolonged fasting (48 to 72 hour fast, with salt water). Search Cole Robinson, Snake diet (don't be put off by his crazy style if talking). 3. Get rid of coffee. Period. 4. Apple cider vinegar, 2 tsp, im water, at least once a day. Curbs those goddamn sugar cravings. 5. Eliminate sugar. 6. Robin Sharma's morning routine. ( google it! 😊) 7. Wake up and sleep at same time, if possible. 8. Visualize your goals being achieved and feel grateful for them NOW, rather than feeling shite about not having them now. 9. Do something to push you out of your comfort zone. 10. Detox from your phone. Do some intermittent fasting with your phone/social media. I dont touch my social media until 5 to 7pm everyday. 11. Exercise... like, go for a walk... even if its raining. I know, obvious info... but these things really helped me. And I learnt about these things from watching tons of KZbin videos. I just thought I'd save you the time. Hope that helps. Please add more below! 😊👍

Mr Andrew K Fletcher is the British man who DISCOVERED INCLINED BED THERAPY...He has many interviews here on youtube and deserves full credit for his great work...his story is fascinating of how he has been trying to get this information out via the education and health systems..he explains how he discovered the benefits of inclining your bed, his experiments and what he learned and he is full of anecdotal testimonies..he is a hero and deserves to be credited.

The term "hacking" originated in the software development world and generally referred to a poorly-thought-through-quick-fix. Usually the thought leading to "hacks" over-simplify the problem and the solution generally is fraught with side-effects. A lot of "biohacks" are probably not much different.

It's simple really Dave Assprey drinks coffee full of butter from a pregnant female cow. Butter is chock full of estrogen. A pregnant female cow is an estrogen making machine. Now Dave Assprey sounds extremely effeminate and looks like he is a cancer patient. Speaking of cancer, Intake of exogenous amounts of estrogen from these pregnant bovine animals increases your risk of prostate, colerectal, breast tissue cancers plus more!

Oh! I’m been in those states of mind you describe for long time. It’s the first time I heard of your research. Most of the time I’m outside playing with my volarope, listen to music and drinking an elixir, that includes coffee in it. The parents and friends come to play as well, but only their kids have enough energy to keep going. Even the kids get tired eventually. The dogs have more endurance. I didn’t pay attention to this concept until the question of “how old are you?” Came often and often. They are surprised. They mention something about hack of life. The curiosity brings me here. By different ways we experienced similar results. I didn’t do it on purpose, the main sensation I feel when dancing with my rope is serenity. This last long and make me dream 🛌 so profound 💤. Thank you very much to share your research, it makes sense.

Thank you for sharing these quick biohacks. I've yet to try the cold shower thing but will. Interesting concept about raising the head of the bed. At work I've turned off the really bright lights and replaced the light in my office with a lamp. Works wonders. The bright light absolutely stressed me out and I felt more tired. Now I don't feel as tired throughout the day. I've added an essential oil humidifier and that really gets my mood straight. Wishing everyone all the best and continued success.

Erin M there are a lot of youtube videos and he has a website as well as his own youtube channel. Essentially, controlled hyperventilation for 30 breaths and then holding your breath. When you need to breath, you breath in and hold for 10-15 seconds and repeat for total of 3-4 times. It changed your alkalinity and how your body is affected by the cold. It reduces inflammation and helps to charge you before the cold bath/shower. The cold also helps heal you so it’s a double edged sword against inflammation. He holds a lot of world records and has embraced a scientific approach to how his method works.

Actually i have got used to cold showers, started out having a hard time not squealing, it got easier every day, now I can get in and turn the cold water straight on me. But I will note I am found of switching the water to extremely hot, then cold, you end up getting really desensitized to each, you don't feel as cold because you have also had the hot, and you can alternate many times a shower leaving you more desensitized faster. Also when I switch from hot to cold I feel a wave of sensation move over my body, 99% sure it's a chi type energy, but I am sensitive to such things, it has shifted dense stuck energies.

After reading many of Dave's books and seeing him speak on a variety of topics, my money is on the fact he'll be lucky to make it to life expectancy, because he's ignoring the single biggest aging factor of stress. From the picture he paints of his schedule and commitments, he's under more stress in one week than I've endured in the past decade. All these "biohacking" tips are like offering more exercises to the guy who drinks, smokes and eats nothing but fast food, but more exercise isn't the problem.

I dig the part of raising the bed... I did this with a big pillow under my mattress so it wasn’t too extreme, before seeing this video, but bricks under the frame would probably effect more than just my upper torso. And be more even for my joints. This is similar to the belief that (depending on which pole, north or south, you live closest to) if you sleep with your head pointing in that direction, the magnetism of that pole will pull the iron in your blood to a degree in the direction of your head... that would make it harder for the brain to “drain” as Asprey is putting it - but sleeping with your head towards the pole (or towards north for most people) is commonly associated with worse sleep and bad dreams.

Rather than intermittent fasting in the morning and skipping breakfast, would it be okay to stop eating earlier in the evening rather? I found skipping breakfast heightened anxiety and stressed my cognitive ability until I ate (Leaning towards keto diet more and more last year or so).
