The lyrics of this song obviously touched Angelina, because within hours of Adele releasing this song Angelina posted a "1st try" on TikTok that was raw but amazing. Less than 2 weeks later she released this "polished" version that packs more emotion than the original, Imo.

That behind the scenes clip at the opening was important to Angelina. This was the first time fans see Angelina's grandma after a serious health scare and hospitalization just a few months before. Fans knew she was ill, but we hasn't heard how she was doing. I believe it's inclusion here was quite deliberate. FYI, grandma helps Angelina design and sew the gowns she wears in some of these videos and the outfit she wore on AGT.

If you heard that they came out to my current studio, performing a song if you’re listening to within 24 hours how she is with republic records and they’re happy to have her go. She has a force to reckon with when you hear saying I have nothing by Whitney Houston at the age of 16. It will blow your socks off and many other songs. I just wanted to say before you do her original, "million miles" that she wrote the song while thinking about her grandfather. It hits differently if you know the context. I've heard people say it was a pandemic song etc. That's completely nuts, and it doesn't have the same meaning if you don't know where her heart was at when she wrote it

This song is so personal to AJ, as are all her songs. She always finds a way to embody the lyrics no matter how old she is. IMO I think AJ is pleading with her fans to go easy on her. Couple this song with her intro and the lyrics to “You Say” at her Christmas concert. She works so hard for us.
