UPDATE: I've been sitting researching and listening to the extended version of what you watched. I've taken a lot of notes . Parents of Terrance Howard allege North Carolina statute 90-322 was disregarded by hospital physicians. The person I believe is Terrance sister read a letter Terrance parents gave the hospital from their attorney. Furthermore, there was no automatic DNR on his license or in documents that I know of thus far. The hospital allegedly asked Terrance parents to make him an organ donor, and they refused. Lastly, Terrance parents alleged their son oxygen machine was being turned off and back on while they were livestreaming . I know exactly what could happen when oxygen is turned off because mine was disconnected temporarily when I was on 12 liters of oxygen. I was alert enough to press the emergency button for help, but if they ignored me, I could have died . It would be an understatement to say oxygen being cut off when you need it is " uncomfortable."

I work in a Trauma ICU and theres no way we wouldnt be rescusitating someone if they are a full code. We also get a lot of patients that are declared brain dead so i am very familiar with the procedures ( may vary from hospital to hospital) . ..In this case where the patient was declared brain dead, he was technically dead. It would be pointless performing CPR because that person is already dead and you can keep the body alive with life support but thats it. The legal definition of brain death is Death. CPR was not done as he was already gone. There is no way to revive someone once the brain dies because there's no chance of recovery! The hospital did not just neglect the patient and let him die. I do empathize with the parents : someone should've ensured that they explained to the family what brain death really means so that they can sort of know what to expect. Organ donation is a very sensitive topic and it's a choice given to families. That said, Organ donation does save others lives, those who need organs such as kidney, liver transplants, etc .

20 years ago hospitals had more patience. Now everything is rushed. Everyone walking through the door is profit to them. It's sad. I left the hospital 2 years ago for (after being admitted for minor issues) and I ended up with pericarditis. But I ended up reading all the saline they put in your IV line can induce it. They was also giving me warfarin around the clock which I believe caused my now son's Dandy-Walker Variant (I got pregnant with him shortly after leaving tge hospital). Thankfully, I walked out and ate healthy and reversed it. They were talking surgery on day 2. I hauled my butt out of there. They don't give you time to heal on your own. And God forbid it's your kids. They override you on that with DCF. Sad world we live in. In the end it boils down to the verse...don't fear what men can do to the body. I guess God knew men could do the unthinkable. Hopefully Terrance is with the Lord. He did come from a strong family with strong faith. 🙏

That’s what I thought, but the fault is still with the medical profession for not educating the family about that. Also, the alarms should be silenced. Hello👋🏾, After researching, watching several videos on Dads Facebook page. The doctors had informed the parents that he had traumatic head injuries( dad said brain dead) once a hospital makes that determination with medical evidence( cat scans and all the other tests) they do not do any other life saving measures such as CPR or resuscitation. He was placed on a ventilator. Parents were given deadlines apparently so they were in the process of trying to move him closer to Houston for a 3rd opinion. Once a hospital determined a patient is brain dead no other hospital will take him. They were letting it take its course. I wish in a way they did not record this because this is what grief looks like.
@missinglostandtrafficked2 ай бұрын
The parents said they hadn't gotten paperwork processed to transfer Terrance to a hospital in Texas. A young woman I believe is Terrance sister read a letter from their attorney citing a law thar did in fact give parents rights to determine how he would be cared for moving forward. Their main grievance was that doctors interfered with their son chances of survival once he was cleared for a transfer. I carefully watched a livestream and took screenshots while listening. Therefore, I believe their claims are valid and shouldn't be dismissed as merely "a moment of grief."

Howard suffered brain trauma and was placed on life support, and spent several days in hospitals as his family hoped for his recovery and asked for donations. His father posted a series of Facebook Live videos Thursday showing Howard's death in the hospital and accusing mistreatment by the facility. SOURCE: 247Sports.com

He was declared brain dead. They don’t perform lifesaving procedures on a person who is declared brain dead. The movements that the parents saw can happen even in a person who is brain dead. He is already legally dead for the entirely of this video. It’s heartbreaking, but the parents don’t understand what is happening because of the intensity of their grief x

Pray for vengeance Family call on the father to deal with all them that hate us Luke 18:6 And the Lord said, Hear what the unjust judge saith. Luke 18:7 And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them? Luke 18:8 I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?

Because he was already dead before this video started. He was declared brain dead by two separate doctors. Medical staff don’t perform life-saving care on someone who is brain dead. It’s heartbreaking for the parents, but the medical staff is not neglecting their duty. The parents are just in the denial stage of grief.

If She is A Nurse Then Why on Earth is She Not Doing ANYTHING to Help those Parents.
