My dad went to Vietnam at 16 when he came home he was a mess it was kill or killed he's a Marine he drank a lot years later when to the Dom for veterans and got help he lived there like 8 years 2013 passed away from agent orange . Anyway, he was a writer for years. When he passed, there were 5 files 🗃 of binder of his life and everything . I gave them to this publisher in California, and she's put one book 📖 together as of now, and it's on Amazon, and all the money from his life go to veterans ❤

I sometimes wrap my smokies with "Pillsbury Crescents" dough . But adding that rolled up smokies with Bacon sounds yummy ! Next time I make Smokies Wraps I think I'll wrap them in bacon . *With the option of wrapping crescent dough around each. Yummmmm!

It looked DELICIOUS 😋 and I will try it . I was raised like you were raised . My family were ranchers and farmers in Texas and Oklahoma, and even in California . Both grandpa's and uncles , cousins all of them . Unfortunately, they have all passed but a few cousins, and I miss them terribly 😔 !!! Happy Father’s Day to you all. In Scotland we do something similar but instead of smokies we use chipolatas, which is basically mini sausages and we wrap in bacon and call them ‘pigs in blankets’. They’re cooked mostly with roast dinners, especially cooked by most at Christmas along with our turkey. Love them and going to try your version 😀

We make them for parties only after we wrap the bacon around them and put in the pan we pack some brown sugar onto of each one so good they disappear quick

Yes social media is hard. Because of my depression I started a channel. Now I do positivity on mine to learn how to always search and be aware of the positives even little in my days. First time I got past 200 and thought I was good and lo and behold I was starting to spiral so I started again I’m on day 10 today. Editing is not my strong suit. 😂. I have a bunch of videos from my vacation I should be doing. I’ll get there soon. It takes so much energy to deal with being negative. Life is better when focused on positivity. ❤. I can relate to you so much with the depression and emotions Lester. You have taught me a lot. Thank you.

Ok. My husband and me like your channel Lester. So in your defense…I can tell you are loving what you’re doing for your father. That’s so sweet. I admire that you’re cooking to please. So now….so what if you have germs sometimes. Do people realize how many germs they stick in their mouth everyday?? By the time you bake those wraps in the oven it will kill any germ that might be present. Lester, put your bacon sausages on the middle rack and temp should be 425-450 degrees to fry the bacon crispy. Not sure how long but you can just keep on eye on it the first time and you'll know for future reference. Happy Fathers Day. 🌿💛🌿

A rack, you put the smokies on a rack in the pan. Once it's cooked you drain the pan, remove the rack, and put the smokies back in the pan. But Jami knew that already😊
