Finally got the door speakers installed and also the amp rack wired up and fired up! It sounds great! No plans to put speakers in the rear doors because FRONT stage always sounds best. The people in the rear should be able to hear the front speakers just fine. Although we might add more later! The rear door grills will end up with black speaker grill cover to match the front soon.
Equipment so far:
(1) Sony CD / Bluetooth H.U.
(1) Rockford Fosgate P1000.1 (on Lows)
(1) Rockford Fosgate P300.2 (on Highs)
(2) Rockford Fosgate P3 12" Subwoofers
(1) Set Rockford Fosgate Power T2652-s
more possibly? subject to change of course!

Sick ass system, usually on video music doesn't sound clear but all your builds sound super clear. Bravo to doing this build with your son, this is what father's need to be doing teaching and spending time with their kids. Hats off to you Steve.

I love the fact that he could have a crazy wild system but he's going for a more simple install being it's probably his first truck. I'm not sure if this is the case but I always respect when a younger guy gets a simple system first because it means most of the time HE worked for it, not just given to him, mad respect for that Steve

Amazing! I love seeing a father teaching his son how to do things the right way. No corner cutting, no skimping. That will transfer to everyday life. You are raising a responsible young man that will be an example to follow by all his peers:)

Steve, great video once again. Thanks for sharing, your videos always inspire me to take that extra step on projects to make everything just right, whether it be car audio or anything else. I recently rescued some of my pop's old Cerwin Vega cabinet speakers. His reaction when he saw how soldered and heat shrunk all connections plus a bunch of other stuff you would never see was priceless. The truly impressive projects are the ones where things are pretty where no one would ever look, but if they did... WOW. You're the boss, keep it up!!!

Are those speaker pods bigger that normal. Also did you make a hole in them. I've heard when using speaker baffles you have to make a quarter size hole on the back. I'm building my Tahoe based on these videos, just on a budget. I've done the big 3 and im about to do my amp rack. It won't be as nice but It will get the job done. Thanks so much for doing this complete overview in great detail.
