They try to scare you into a plea even when they k ow they don't stand a chance in a trial. Likely would have been dropped before a trial and if it did go, he would get acquitted. They don't like wasting money on clear cut cases

What would've been the legal outcome if that old man hit this man's wife with his bike, got away with harassment once again, then decided to hit her again with his bike the next day but killed her in the same fashion that he died from blunt force trauma?
