There are so many factors that contributed to the man's reaction and many of the comments are not capturing it. It is quiet a pity that the man was not looking at the bigger picture of this girl's future. But this is a man that his first two daughters have disappoined. Another factor is poverty and lost of job 3rdly frustration and depression as a result of the first two and the lost of his dear wife. I didn't see him as a bad man but as a man who is passing through so many trials. All he needed is encouragement and show of love. As a Father this has brought tears in my eyes. I wish some of our youths here in my country ( Trinidad and Tobago) can see this and know how fortunate we are here with FREE EDUCATION from Pre School all the way up to university that many of them don't appreciate.
