Which did not include taking her daughter to a doctor to make sure she was okay. In the stress of an accident, people may not feel injured till hours later or even the next day.

Besides transportation, meals, and lodging, they will pay the judgement. The plaintiff here was smart to agree because no way single "mommy mode" mom was ever going to pay back $8K, but she got a free two day vacation.
