A cardiac arrest is a completely different event than a heart attack, although they can look the same, and they're treated differently differently. In short? Check for a pulse. If there's no pulse? the heart has stopped - and that is what's meant by this new term "sudden adult death syndrome." One day, I hope we'll be able to talk about why these tragedies are occurring.

He passed because an infection came on really quick causing sepsis and instead of the multi billion dollar oil company he worked for send him to the hospital with their ambulance, they made him wait for the end of shift bus where he spent the hour ride home in the washroom and by the time he got to the hospital the damage was already done to his organs because he didn’t get IV antibiotics quick enough.

I think I have been fortunate with my health so far. No heart problems. No diabetes. That said, I drive a school bus and I sit a lot. That is one reason I make myself walk in the summer. I gain weight. I get stressed and I have to sit five days a week. After driving nine hours a day I just don't have the mental concentration to go out walking for an hour. And I'll be sleepy and hungry. All I want to do is eat and zone out after work. Anyway, you have to make time for training.

So glad he is ok! My father had the same and it was drilled into him to take the weight off.

It’s scary that you can have blocked arteries and have no idea. A family member’s blockage wasn’t discovered until she underwent testing for another surgery and her blockage was significant. I wonder if there were any warning signs.

LOL, what do YOU really think??? LOOK AT HIM! He was a heart attack looking for a place to happen. SMFH.

Dang, he suffered a widow maker and is up and walking. Thank goodness it didn’t happen that evening when everyone has already left.

Pretty sure your elite graphics team labeled the father the bride here. Maybe he's an emily, though, I could be wrong.

He’s an Emily and the bride and she’s the father and a Brad. Yeah someone goofed with this one.🤦🏼♀️

Possibly he identifies as an Emily, and she identifies as a Brad, lol.

In my late teens, I had a friend who’s father died of a massive heart attack the morning of his wedding. I was also friends with his younger sister, she was in my class. It was a pretty heavy and sad day, for sure! Glad this story turned out better .

I honor my father by never making him dance in a hot suit to Taylor swift. I love him too much for that. 😂

Anyone, including children, can learn CPR. Call your local Red Cross or check at your local fire station.

Dad, you’ve been given a second chance so please make your health a priority.

Dad, you almost lost your life over a senseless and moronic dance, just because your daughter wanted to look and feel cool. Hopefully BOTH you and your daughter become more in tune with what people with certain underlying health conditions should and shouldn't do. Losing your life over a dance is something you shouldn't do.
@alleycat6166 ай бұрын
@@markmalasics3413just doing a dance shouldn’t make a healthy person go into cardiac arrest. It is normal to dance at a wedding. Stop trying to blame the daughter for this. If he took better care if his health he wouldn’t be going into cardiac arrest from a 3 minute dance. A dance he agreed to by the way.

The bride is the father and the father is the bride. Somebody needs to proof the story before posting it and correct the caption. Maybe the station is dealing with budget cuts.🤨
