Wow this was amazing I’m 39 and just drew my first deer tag. My whole motivation is to teach my 4 month old son to hunt and love the outdoors. God bless your dad, clearly he was everything a dad should be.

May his love be with you on the hunting trails. Someday we will all meet in the best hunting grounds, light a fire and listen to the sound of drops on the tent.

When I first watched this on TV I was able to watch it with my daughter and we were happy with your Dad's successful hunt. On the other hand she and I were both saddened by your loss. I have always enjoyed the authenticity of your program and would like you to know we truly are sorry for your loss. God bless and god speed.

Super Super great film. Thanks for sharing your experience with us. It is what it is all about, "Family" and the memories made with them while out in the field. So sorry to hear about your dad, but very glad you were able to share this hunt with him. Thank you.

Thank you so much for such a heart warming video. Reminded me of the first 2 times I went Elk hunting with my Dad in the Selway, you were truly blessed to have had Dennis as a father. Id like to think him and my Dad are chasing big stinkys in heaven right now.

Western Hunter= the best hunting show out there, especially if you are a western hunter yourself. I LOVE that you make it about the adventure, not the animal and being "cool" as the industry seems to do now-a-days. Please keep it up Nate. My condolences for Dennis, truly was a special man. I see this video and touches my heart to see another who values to public land, western hunting, with his father who started the passion. I wear my Kuiu "Western Hunter" hat with pride! Always on my head, especially while on the hunt!

Truly one of the greatest and most powerful productions I’ve ever watched! I’d be a liar if I didn’t shed a tear or two while watching. Thank you for the amazing message and I’m sorry for your loss! It really hit home and makes me cherish the times in the woods with loved ones!

Nate, Thank you for sharing this. I'm in Montana and have grown up with many similar values as you have. It's a good reminder to everyone to stop and take the time to appreciate the environment we're blessed to live and hunt in. The things that my Dad has taught me are now being passed on to my kids. My motto is to make as many memories as you can. I'm sorry for your loss of your dad. Let his memory live on, in breathing the fresh hunting air that he probably loved. God bless you and your family!
