My ex did this to my son - who was then 12 like this boy. My ex - right before the hearing - stated that he would "grant" me sole custody and he would give up his parental rights if I would not ask for child support. I agreed right away because my ex was verbally and physically abusive to my son as well as to me. My son's safety was all that mattered to me. But the judge granted sole custody to me as well as child support - with very limited and strictly supervised visitation. My ex never requested visitation and only sent a few letters to my son. This was 20 years ago and I'm thankful everyday that my son is doing well and has his own family now.

Solution for fathers living in feminist countries, where the state interferes in your family, and you have no authority over your own children. You need to do what these single moms do, when they use you as a sperm donor, and a financial asset to squeeze every last drop out of you through the separation process. This is what I did. I have 3 beautiful children living with me in the UK, but they have no mommy. Why? Because I don’t want to deal with a mommy after I got screwed when I was younger, by a woman who didn’t want me see my child, and made my life hell. After that, I went to Philippines, and I got a small young 18 year old girl. I promised her the world, and moved her to Cambodia, and got her pregnant. She had the baby in Cambodia, and signed over custody. She was completely dependent on me, and dirt poor. Couldn’t even afford a flight home. Guess what, after I left her ass, with my new baby, I never heard from here again. I did this two more times. Never been happier!

"Giving her full custody" doesn't mean you don't pay support. Actually, you'd need to pay MORE, because you wouldn't be paying for things when the child would have been with you. "There is nothing there for me" ....I really hope he remembers saying that when he's old and needs help from his family.

My daddy never gave my mom a single dime of child support and was never there for me, yet he raised five kids that weren't his own. Needless to say, when he was diagnosed with lung cancer, I was the only one there holding his hand after they removed one of his lungs, and when he was on his death bed, he called out for me. Did it make me feel good to know that he wanted me there? No, it didn't feel good at all. I felt sorry for him, not because he was my father, but because no one else cared enough to show up. I was there out of pity, not loyalty or love. When he finally apologized, I felt nothing; it was too late-the damage had already been done. Mr Pike, someday you will need your sons, and you better pray that, like me, they will have enough pity for you to be there. I pray that God watches over those two boys, and I pray that they grow up to be better men than what you've become. They deserve better, and you, sir, don't deserve their love.

What a deplorable man. I married my ex when I was still in HS. Had four kids together, 20 yrs of marriage. Wife #2 (pun totally intended) came along and the man had the audacity and hubris to petition the court to terminate his parental rights, believing this meant no child support. It was an interstate case so I couldn't see his face when the judge in my state literally laughed. He shook his head and said he can't believe these cases when they come up. Apparently it's not as uncommon as I'd hoped it was. Imagine a world where you could just say, "I don't want them. I changed my mind" and be relieved of your responsibilities. And now, he has the nerve to ask why his adult kids don't want to have anything to do with him.

@@thomasa4239 wow. Really? A woman cannot make a man be a shit father. Either he loves and cares for his kids like a father should or he doesnt. An angry baby ma could take/hide the children away somewhere (illegally), or try and get more money than the kids need through court, or try and fight custody and make it hard for the father to be a part of their lives, but you can almost always tell whether or not the father is actively trying to be a parent or not. He can fight her through the courts and show how she is, and show how much hes trying, but all of that still doesnt make him a shitty father. It makes him a father in a shitty situation, or it makes TRYING to be a father shittier, but if he loves the kids hell fight through her and itll eventually be known that shes the actual shit parent. But her antics and behavior arent going to make the dad love his children any less. It's not going to make him want to raise and protect them any less. Yes, there are difficult mothers out there with grudges that make it very hard for some fathers sometimes. That's going to happen, and it goes both ways. But this man in the clip isnt shitty bc of the mother, and I doubt the kids are disrespectful to him or his parents bc of her. His absence, his lack of giving a shit, his lack of attention, affection and actual LOVE, is why they're treating him this way. And of course they're going to act out from a "dad" like this, they may even resent his parents too if they pressure the kids to "try and spend time with dad," after they themselves have to coerce him to see his kids. The grandparents may even have to make the dad come around more just so THEY can spend more time with the grandchildren, and the kids could see or feel that. A shitty baby mom isnt going to take a good father and make him a bad one, only he can do that. She can only hinder his abilities to parent and thankfully the courts are usually able to stop that.

I didn’t bother fighting her in court, because I just accepted she didn’t want me in our sons life. Hurt like hell, but best decision I ever made. Now I have 3 kids, very happy, single father - I learnt from that mistake. Never again I put myself in the hands of a feminist court system, or have kids with a mom who is in their life. Luckily, 3rd world countries, many young girls to get pregnant, and without resources to fight you for child custody. As a therapist, I can tell you that what this father did was far more damaging to those little boys than if he had physically beaten them. The harm from being abandoned, rejected & unloved, can be a life long struggle. Some children are fortunate to find love & acceptance from other adult figures. But every child longs to receive it from their parents. As a mother myself, I admit I’ve made mistakes as parent. We all do. But at the end of the day, I’ll rest comfortably knowing there wasn’t one minute of my child’s life, not even 1 second, where he had to question whether or not his mother loved him unconditionally.

Seeing this has in a way flooded back memories of my childhood. When i was 5 years old my father divorced my mother and he had custody and raised me, my mother was a drug addict and alcoholic. I sat in the court room and watched as she chose her life of drugs and alcohol over being a mother to me. Growing up without my mother was very hard, luckily my grandparents from my mothers side seen how all this was affecting me and had a hand in helping my dad raise me. Growing up i only received one gift from my mother ( a 3 pack of trolls ) for Christmas. I remember my dad taking me to her house to visit her and i ended up spending the whole weekend in the livingroom by myself because she was in the bedroom doing her drugs the whole time. I would cry every time my dad took me to her house for a visit, and after awhile of this i finally told my dad how it was at her house. After i told him the visits were transferred to my grandparents house where they could be supervised. As an adult now i look back and realized that what i went through has given me the extra drive to be the best mother to my two girls that i can be and making sure my girls know i love them. They grow up knowing they have a mother who will always choose them. I hope these boys do the same, i hope they grow up and be a better man then their father was. It will be hard and a daily struggle growing up and i hope they can break the cycle and do and be better.

The reality is it’s not just a lack of strong fathers, as there are mothers who are abandoning their children as well. What is happening is we have people having children for the wrongest of reasons, have unrealistic expectations for infants, toddlers, and children in general, are highly immature, impatient, selfish, and don’t know how to weather any storm. Raising children is not easy, cheap, nor is it for the faint of heart, but you are responsible for another life, a child, and future adult. If you are not willing to sacrifice everything, you are not ready to be a parent. This dude is very selfish and immature, but his mother still makes excuses for him, so he never had to grow up, and still hasn’t. Age, does not make you mature, responsible, or an adult. There are many children suffering in this country, for many reasons, and if they are not healed, they, most often, become ill-mannered, irresponsible adults, with poor coping skills. Then they have children, and the cycle continues.

This is just awful...those poor kids. I was a textbook definition of a daddy's girl and at 13 he was just done. It would have been one thing if he was half ass all my life. My mom kept him in court after they divorced (I was 3) and he only got every other weekend with me. He never missed his weekends and made the most of our weekends. From the minute I was dropped off, I counted down until the next weekend. Had the most amazing bond....then at 13, he just left. Not only him, but my grandmother and aunt and his whole immediate side followed in behind them. Their reason being that my dad would disown them if they didn't. I had a breakdown. I became promiscuous all through high school, I threw myself into colorguard and worked as many hours as I could. Knowing what I know now about depression, I was severely depressed but kept myself busy as a front. My mom came from parents who were not affectionate, never said i love you and NEVER talked about their feelings. That cycle continued with her. She just couldnt give what she never had. So my dad leaving, and im left with these issues i couldnt talk about. Feelings i kept bottled up, abandonemnt issues. This caused major trust issues especially in relationships. I entered into adulthood with no communication skills, fear of being left again so I would leave my husband after every fight. Eventually he couldn't take it and left me for good. I'm 31 and just now learning how to open up...I pray for these kids. And that they don't determine their worth based upon their parents and environment like I did 🥺

Many misogynistic men are deeply terrified of women & cannot handle this change. As a daddy's girl, you adore/ worshiped him & he can handle adoration, but they cannot handle knowing the scales will fall from your eyes as you grow up and, to stay adored, he would have to love and respect you as a women, but he isn't secure enough to handle that. Try your best to not let your POS father dictate anymore of your life. He didn't leave you. It wasnt about you. HE was deficient. Do the work to feel that truth in your soul. This hits home! My kids were 18 months & 4 years old when my ex & I divorced. He tried everything in the book to not pay any child support. Then, he found an old “friend” from high school & the kids & I ran into them at Wally World. The next weekend the kids went to their Dads, she was already moved in with him. Well, she was in college with my best friend & said it was “questionable” whether my ex was the kids Dad! That lit a fire in me & I met him in my driveway that day & told him that we needed DNA tests ASAP since his woman was spreading false info! He said “I KNOW their my kids!” So I told him she needed to stop spreading lies or else I would directly deal with her. He ended up marrying this woman & went from being a great dad to not seeing the kids, his choice. Then his wife coaxed him into moving where she was prior to moving here. He hasn’t spoken to my son in YEARS & my daughter finds out things about him on FB. It’s pretty sad when your child’s father has to read on FB that he has cancer. He couldn’t even contact his children privately. But I think he knows deep down that he ruined those relationships long ago.
