Hi im wondering if we dont not subcribe to insights. Can we get access to the babys night sleep video playback? As i believe the cubo records 18 hours free playback. I cant seem to find this infomation anywhere. Insights suspscription says 2 days but looking to find out what can we access if not supscribed to insights. Thankyou!

Thank you for this review. You convinced me to get this instead of the Owlet. I do have a question thought. Can the floor stand be placed on the short side of the crib instead of being centered on the wide side? Our crib is against the wall where we have a huge name sign so we cant place it there. Would I be able to adjust the camera or angle so it covers the crib horizontally and use all the features? Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the review. Was held up deciding between Nanit Pro and Miku Pro. Would your review on the Miku pro be out before the Nanit sales ends? Also, would you have any additional feedback on using these devices for twins? We are expecting twins in the next few weeks and I am setting up my room for the kids. Would having 2 baby cams in a room create any issues? Also I am not too sure about the wearable. Like you explained we don’t see any long term usage. Any other points to consider before I can pass it? And finally the website does say the purchase is eligible for HSA. But when I try and purchase not every item in my bad is. Kinda confusing if whether it would be or not.

Does the nanit pro have the red lights? I heard that it can be a bit distracting.

It does and it is. My son now makes me turn the camera off before he’s able to go to bed. So potentially more distracting for older kids as opposed to newborns/infants.

Good review. Question on the sheets - do you think they'll fit 140cm x 70cm mattresses? I know they're advertised to fix the standard 120cm x 60cm mattress.

I like Nanit’s stand because it’s taller and a bit more versatile. I just got the new Miku stand so I’ll be testing that out soon.

@@Fathercraft thanks so much. If you can do a tiny review on these floor stands that would be great. Due to the layout of the crib I’m looking at cameras that work well with floor stands. Not sure if there are universal ones. Glad the lollipop cam makes it possible for this. Keep up that videos !! Just found your channel and going through all your videos as I’m expecting this September :)

Great video. Something I might add. I’ve been talking with Nanit support about an upgrade program for those with the Nanit Plus. I recently purchased it and love it. Just no need for another floor stand and accessories. So the question is would it be worth an upgrade. I was told it would cost in and around $150. They said it should be available sometime mid to late April/ beginning of May.

That’s a great point. I think it depends on whether or not 1080p is worth $150 upgrade. You won’t notice much difference with the other updates to the camera itself.

It's not compatible with Google home, pretty poor for a smart device of this price. With 14 pages of comments on Nanits community site and some pretty poor responses, this should be a do not buy recomendation!

@@Fathercraft I wouldnt have purchased had I have know but I'm also warning others off based on the companies behaviour. The subscription model is already a bit on the nose, but have a read of their handling of the situation and decide if they're really a company you want to be involved with. To expand on the technical aspect, it is nice to have the option to use your phone but many negatives as well around the dual purpose of a phone and the impact on the device's battery that makes a dedicated screen ideal. Nanit's benefits are still valid but you can get similar products that are compatible with Google Home, should you be that user. I did see (in post purchase horror) you listed it as not compatible on your website, so no gripes with you, just alerting others who may be misled by the omision in Nanit's advertising.

If you are going to buy this camera DO NOT. I've had it for 6 months and it worked so good for the first 5, now it has stopped recording all events. I pay for premium subscription and the video recordings have also stopped working. I've have tried multiple times to reset the camera and uninstall the app to no avail. I have tried on numerous times to contact the customer support and received NO HELP. I can't get through to anyone. No resolution to these problems. Multiple people are having these issues and can't find any solution.
