As a response to both opinions you discuss at 8:39, we chose Nanit for several reasons but more than any other reason because my husband *could* login to check in our child while he travelled substantially for work in her first 12 months of life. He felt he didn’t miss out as much because he knew when she was napping, how she was sleeping overnight etc.

Purchased a Nanit Pro a week ago in preparation for our first baby coming next week. This channel and Fathercraft pushed me to get a Nanit over Cubo and, without actually using it with our baby yet, I’m extremely impressed and excited to use it to learn more about our baby boy. The feature that sealed the deal for me was being able to have the audio play while my phone is locked. I had a sibling that died from SIDS so it’s something I’m very conscious of which justifies the price for me Thanks for all the great info!

One of my my gripes is that I wish the arm was able to extend over the crib a little bit more. Since we have a large headboard on our crib, the camera grabs focus on the top of the headboard at night. Or a touch to focus would be nice. Or maybe manual focus option with focus peaking so I know it's tac sharp!

We just purchased our second Nanit Plus when they went on sale as the Pro was released. We love the Nanit with our daughter, now 15 months, and will be using the second one with our son when he arrives in a few weeks. We use a dedicated Kindle Fire as the monitor screen, re-upped Insights after a year (because we love the time tracking for awakes and sleeps), and take it with us anytime we travel. Definitely recommend! However, we can't quite get into all the upgrade accessories for breathing and height...it's just too gimmicky and we are satisfied with just monitoring sleep.

We returned our Nanit Pro. didn't feel it was worth the price. The owlet sock was more versitle than the sleepwear and the owlet cam is adequate for our needs. Additionally on rural DSL, Nanit seemed to constantly be using bandwidth which impacted our other uses of our internet. (30/1.5 mbps)

I ended up returning my nanit after the 45 day trial. We didn't like it, quality would get terrible at times, even with pretty HS internet. It often just wouldn't work, camera would disconnect at night. Happy that there is that 45 day period to return however!

Can the breathing band be worn inside pyjamas?
@dadverb2 жыл бұрын
It will need to be worn on the outside for the camera to be able to see the tracking pattern of the band.

I bought the nanit because of this channel and have had it for some time. It is by far the worst piece of technology that I have ever owned. When you see the bad reviews. They are all true. Get any other camera for your babies crib.
