Half of the things Fr. Carlos Martins has mentioned was my life growing up and 100% true of why it happened. Family tree (ancestors fault and curses), horror movies, imaginary friends, horoscopes, pornography, ect. The devil is real!

I’ve heard his response on Harry Potter before, about how good guys do magic etc. And that we’ve never seen that in fiction before. I’m curious to how he’d respond or differentiates that from what Tolkien had the wizards in his world do. You had both good and evil magic. Yet was clearly define. In Narnia, you had the white witch to be sure. But in (iirc) the voyage of the dawn treader, you had the main character cast some spells, and some were because of sinful emotions, like jealousy, but she also undos a spell that was accidentally cast by the owner of the island, who is a friend of Aslan. So what’s the difference between the magic in Harry Potter and in lord of the rings and chronicles of Narnia?
