Finding that out explained so much... she is high functioning but it helped her so much to find out about it. Now she’s in college and is able to have help through her school! i was in hospital for 5 days from a hysterectomy. believe me i wanted out of there after 2 days. when you have to deal with yourself it's one thing, but when you have to endure every other patients' recovery , that's a whole other thing.

@@BrookeKatherine. when i was recovering in hospital for 5 days, i was in a semi private room. the woman next to me was so sweet and quiet. very respectful. but other patients in the hospital, on the same floor were not. overnight one night, a patient had a fit and was screaming in the hallways. she had to be restrained. this is what i mean by having to endure other patients.

jaytotheell Oh gotcha. I’m in the hospital quite a lot so I understand that part. I was recently there for 2 months. Granted over a month was in the TICU/ICU. I got moved down one level the last few weeks, ended up all starting from going in for a big dental surgery in the hospital and they can’t get the breathing tube down because of a whole much of medical stuff, but got an emergency tracheotomy. But any place that isn’t severe always has some craziness going on!
