I like this one a lot. It reminds me of a cemetery-a bittersweet, ethereal scent, where life and loss are gently blent.

I blind bought this towards the end of last year. For me, the wet green notes shine the brightest. I actually enjoy the balance of light/dark notes here. I prefer a figment man, but I wouldn't change anything here. BL is a great brand

Great review, thank you! I have never tried this perfume but it sounds amazing in your interpretation! Lily is a special floral scent, quite indolic in real life, and I think it takes a lot of skill to make it beautiful in the composition without making her lose her decadent essence. Gloomy surroundings suit her. Etat Libre d'Orange have a perfume, Charogne, that arouses some similar associations in me. They are almost opposite in terms of the pyramids, but I think the vibe may be similar.

Cheers M. Deffo a very interesting and weird and wonderful fragrance line , have some samples and always meant to bottle buy alas I’ve put them on the proverbial long finger for some unknown reason?? . I really should revisit them samples and commit to a couple 🤛👊💪

I have this one I blind bought it bc of another KZbinr who described it as a fragrance for vampires. When I got it it was so different from what I have. It's very earthy. I get fresh cut flowers and lots of lilly. Like I'm smelling the water in the vase holding the flower. It's really beautiful but I haven't gotten to wear it much yet 😢hopefully when it gets little colder.

Really happy to see you doing this house, I love Beaufort and this is by far my least favourite. I’m not really a fan of green fragrances and this one smells like crushed stems sitting in stagnant water in a florists. Love and own rake and ruin, Tonnerre, iron duke and terror and magnificence.

Interesting how you found similar smells in nature from your area. For me it was reminder of freshly cut dandelion field.

I have this one and like it, but don't wear it that often, which I do need to remedy. The others from Beaufort, while interesting, strike me as unwearable. This one, while unusual, is still polite enough for company.

This is a very unique brand. I just enjoy the audacity of these fragrances. I have four from the brand- Lignum Vitae, Rake & Ruin , Coeur De Noir and Vi Et Armis.

I keep hearing interesting things about this one and it’s making me want to dig out my sample. The biggest characters on my skin were the blackcurrant and cumin notes, reminding me of Zoologist Dodo (2020) minus Dodo’s slight guano aspect. Though where Dodo was leafy, verdant, and alive, Fathom V was stemmy, withered, and rotting. Foul without the fowl. Thank you for your review!

Have this one. Freshly cut flowers. More precisely - freshly cut daffodils. Not the summer meadow flowers, no. Atop of all the dark notes like ash, tar and soil. Great for springs and summer, too. "Vi Et Armis" from Beaufort goes for the winter and fall.
