I made this without the retro decorations yesterday morning and we just ate the last bit now. I must say I am impressed with this recipe, the mixture firms up nicely and it's not too sweet. Hello, just want to ask, with regards to the jelly, you said we should follow the packet instructions but i also heard you say that you used hot water. Most jelly packages call for hot and cold water. So must i use the hot and cold water as on the box or hot water only?

I make something similar. I only use half the water...hot water for the jelly. Then leave it to cool.
