In this episode, Reena shows us how to make a quick caramel fridge tart. An ideal solution to the "bring & share" problem that we're faced with at this time of year. Enjoy.
Ingredients:
- 1 pack, tennis biscuits
- 1 Flake
- 250ml fresh cream
- 3 teaspoons, instant coffee
- 250ml, boiling water
- 360g, Caramel Treat
Method:
1) Place the biscuits at the bottom of the casserole dish.
2) Mix the instant coffee into the boiling water and pour it over the biscuits evenly. Leave it to soak for 5 minutes.
3) Pour the fresh cream into a mixing bowl and whisk it thoroughly.
4) Decant the caramel treat into the bowl of fresh cream and mix it.
5) Pour the fresh cream mixture over the coffee-soaked biscuits and spread it evenly.
6) Crumble the flake over the top and place the casserole in the fridge for 15-20 minutes to set.
