I was fortunate enough to see "The Fat Man" play live in 1986 here in Seattle, he was truly awesome! As an encore he literally belly-bumped his piano across the stage as he sang and played, not missing a single note! Outstanding.

Not only is this just an all-time great song but you can feel how Domino himself and every other person seems delighted to be there doing what they're doing-It's a performance firing on all cylinders and I'm glad it's still here for us to enjoy over half a century later. Also god damn I want to be friends with that drummer in the back, his vibes are immaculate.

I listen to a lot of modern music and it's still what I prefer to listen to but man, all of the songs I've listened to, this one included, have really opened my eyes on some of the amazing music of the 50's.
