+rayblack2004 Not at all. I like it too. It's one of the only versions of 'Pinocchio' that I've seen that really shows a lot of what Geppetto's going through. As interesting as it is to see Pinocchio learning to be a real boy, it's also interesting to see Geppetto learning to be a father.

It didn't help much that this came after both ABC's Whitney/Brandy Cinderella and then the ABC's Annie ... both tough acts to follow, any TV musical would look inadequate by comparison. I don't think in retrospect its THAT obvious that Drew Carey wasn't cut out for musical theatre, at least the effort is there, but Usher pretty much stole the show from everyone here lol
