thank you for watching. it means alot. I'm glad you found out about magguts. they are great items.

I'd also, like to note that th great little Kahr CW380/P380 tends to want to nosedive the rounds but when you install any of the Magguts spring it keeps a nice strong upward pressure and eliminates this nosediving issue.

Many viewers may not know all of the details that go into making a good informative video. Sometimes the preparation alone is immense. You my friend went above and beyond in your testing. I thank you for the great review on this product. I think I will order it for my shield.

I appreciate this video and test. It is good to know that Magguts are reliable and durable in the G42 magazines. That extra round is nice to have and could save a person's life! I am a big fan of the G42 because it has very low recoil and is reliable, accurate and so easy to carry. I'm over the big duty handguns that I usually end up leaving at home.

My most current EDC is the sig P365. 10+1 in a small controllable package. I still have the g42 and the magguts mags have been loaded since then and they are still just fine

Over the last few days I have watched several video reviews of the Magguts magazine conversion kit. I want to add a round to my Sig P238 6 round mags used for EDC. If it works out I will do the same to my 7 round extended mags.This is the last video I need to watch. An order for the first two Maggut kits will be placed as soon as I am finished typing this comment. Thank you for the excellent video and your dedication to the project. I think the Maggut folks need to send you another free kit!

I'm glad you liked my video and found it helpful. Even after all these years since I made the video my mags with magguts are still running just fine. I am probably going to order 1 for my new shield 9mm

Not sure why, but the 7 round magazine with the magguts opened inside my shield 9mm. The spring and follower came out the top and everything got stuck inside. I had to yank out the mag and rack the pistol before the follower dropped out. This happened 3 days ago. Contacted magguts and they sent emailed me a shipping slip for a return and will send me another. No one so far has heard of this happening that I know of.

If you really did what you said you did, that is an astonishing accomplishment. I wouldn't want to thumb wrestle you, lol. You're a real trooper, man.

Ammo Man I did actually do what I said I did. I wish I could have built a contraption to do it for me. would have prevented a blister. I need to do an update video. that magazine has been fully loaded since the video.

David Malphurs no its a vintage Bulova accutron. it was my grandfather's 25 year watch from a company he help start. he received it on the 70's I think.

I think gun guys must tend to be watch guys. Several of the guys at my local range have nice timepieces, they notice and comment on my Omega Seamaster. I'm considering the magguts kit for my PPS m2 but it has a different spring type than your Glock 42. I am curious if it would hold up to 1000 cycles like yours did.
@_DST0NE_2 жыл бұрын
This is the way to do it. MagLula should have sent you a loader so that you could simultaneously torture the UpLula 😆 I would however like to see it held side by side to a brand new spring to see if there's been any permanent compression.
@fattywithafirearm2 жыл бұрын
Damn that is a good idea. I wish I had done that for the video.

I can buy an extra magazine for less than I can buy a Mag Guts to add one round to a magazine.
@walkingman91718 жыл бұрын
That is true, but what if its that one extra shot that saves your life and there was no time to change magazines. That's the dilemma.
@patrickmulligan31015 жыл бұрын
walkingman agree the more you can carry without reloading is the best. In one of the training classes I took a guy said if you have to reload your carry gun your aim sucks or you’re in a full blown firefight.

I would be more impressed to see 1000 shots fired with the mag guts -filled mag. Problems with feeding resulting from the follower and stacked-spring. Nobody i know feels that loading/unloading by HAND stresses the mag and “guts”. I am not impressed.
@fattywithafirearm4 жыл бұрын
From an engineering standpoint it makes no difference to the spring loading and unloading by hand. If you would be more impressed to see 1000 rounds fired I invite you to buy the product yourself and spend your own money on 1000 rounds of ammo and make a video showing your results. I have to pay for ammo out of my own pocket. If I had a generous sponsor I'd shoot 1000 rounds from 1 mag. But by all means test this yourself if you want to be impressed.
