I came across them at Dutch fantasy fair Castlefest where they are one of those bands that need to be there or it isn't Castlefest. I have tickets for whenever we can go to concerts again (November 2020 became December 2021). I'm Dutch but I understand German without a problem. Speaking and writing I'm still working on.

Do not be deceived. Witchcraft is a way for satan to divert your attention from the One true God. We are living in the last days, time is running out.Wake up! "The night is almost over, the day of salvation will soon be here. So remove your dark deeds like dirty clothes, and put on the shining armor of right living because we belong to the day, we must live decent lives for all to see. Don't participate in the darkness of wild parties and drunkenness, or in sexual promiscuity and immoral living, or in quarreling and jealousy. 14Instead, clothe yourself with the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ.And don't let yourself think about ways to indulge your evil desires." The Knot Ceremony represents the devil Wotan marrying his beloved Freya on the very top of Mount Brocken, the highest peak of the Harz Mountains, a very remote part of Germany that kept to old ways before Christian reform. A night of celebration, ecstasy, & some *serious* partying.

@@Anaris10 You don't know what you are wishing for. There is a reason our ancestors left the pagan religions. Where I live they have a festival called Burning Man. This year the true God sent rains on them to douse their fires and then he gave them a rainbow to prove what the real meaning of the rainbow is. In Europe burning man festivals meant human sacrifice. Be careful of what you wish for and choose right.

@truthspkr1

@@cmd7930 If you study the Celtic revival started by St. Patrick and carried on for 300 years by other Celtic saints you will see that the Celts were the ones who evangelized Europe. The monasteries of Ireland were training schools to send out missionaries. It is said they were like bees covering the continent. They did not use force but used truth and persuasion only. Charlemagne used force and gained only fake converts just like Constantine and later Roman emperors to empower the Roman Cult called Catholicism which is not Christian and is really an expression of the ancient Babylonic religion started by Nimrod (They have the same woman holding a baby) which was a rebellion against the true God Jah preached by Noah and Shem. Paganism is a later religion and is not the original religion. Paganism rejects the concept of an infinite God and replaces him with finite gods and by doing such was the first expression of anti-theism.

Aha. That sounds like someone might know WHY they're dancing around what seems sort of related to a Maypole. Not that I know why folk dance around Maypoles either 'tho I suspect like many things its pre-Christian in origin and possibly was 'annexeed' by the Church as part of their insatiable obsession to assimilate everyone. Still, I had no idea Faun were like some sort of wiccan(?) music group. I just like quite a lot of their music. But I did wonder why they do some seemingly curious things. To avoid any suspicion of 'sailing under a false flag', I should probably add that as a good atheist I think you're *all* mad of course, but the witchy folk are less *intrusively* mad so hey, each to their own.

I cannot explain it. I lived in Germany for 10 years and there is just something about this video, the dancing and the music that calls to something deep within me. I wish I had wondered into this lost when I lived in Germany, perhaps I could have found that wild part of me that answers the summons of this video. I know that my words might sound nuts, but I cannot define what keeps drawing me back to it like old and forgotten friends just remembered.

Hi this is an translation i found. no guarentee of correctness. greetings from germany. grüsse aus deutschland To the evening sky arise Magic tunes tonight Wild folk and Lilith's kind, Secretly ride the lurking winds. Let us prowl towards the bonfires Reach murmuring for the stars, The good word and also the bad one We will today carry away and away. In the willows our dreams will sound And the winds will sing our songs Let us jump over the fire with the sparkles In Walpurga's Night! Hear the violins, hear the violins, The fires have been started! Follow the roundelay, follow the roundelay In Walpurga's Night. Boisterous to the playing of the violins Our nightly roundelay is spinning And wild and free we join This ancient magic. Only once in the great circle Will we dance in this manner, Until the first light of the morning Breaks through the web of our dreams. In the willows our dreams will sound And the winds will sing our songs Let us jump over the fire with the sparkles In Walpurga's Night! I lost someone recently. His memorial was on Walpurgisnacht this year. We are Americans, so this holiday doesn't really exist out here. I learned about this holiday because of this song only a year ago. So, May Day / Walpurgisnacht / Beltane became a very grief-filled time this year for me. However, this song and other songs by Faun and few other artists have been very therapeutic for me to listen to. I am not religious, but I started lighting devotional candles, and wearing a cartouche of Anubis. I feel like my friend isn't truly gone if I have music and tokens of his existence. Rest in peace, Austin. Whatever is out there after this life, if anything at all, I hope you're doing your best.

14Instead, clothe yourself with the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ.And don't let yourself think about ways to indulge your evil desires." For everyone note sure what the lyrics are: English: Soar into the evening sky The magic ways tonight Wild people and Lilith's art Lurking winds drive secretly Let's roam to the fires Reaching for the stars in a whisper Good and bad word Let's carry on and on today Our dreams will sound in the pastures And the winds will sing our songs Let's jump over the fire with the sparks On the Walpurgis Night! Hear the violins, hear the violins (Hey yo) The fires are lit! (Hey yo) Follow the dance, follow the dance On the Walpurgis night Fierce in the violin game Our nightly 'round dance And we kick wild and free This old magic Once only in a large circle Let's dance that way Until the first morning light Our dream tissue breaks Our dreams will sound in the pastures And the winds will sing our songs Let's jump over the fire with the sparks On the Walpurgis Night! Hear the violins, hear the violins (Hey yo) The fires are lit! (Hey yo) Follow the dance, follow the dance On the Walpurgis night Hear the violins, hear the violins (Hey yo) The fires are lit! As someone who recently learned German after moving to Germany a few years ago, this shows how beautiful the German language is. As an American I always viewed it as such a harsh language, but as I started learning and hearing everyday German and some of the beauty of the structure of the language, I fell in love with it and the culture! We live in Swabian land.... understanding and getting a grasp on the slang is a hilarious journey lmao

As soon as I saw the great goddess and her beloved husband the great god come together I got emotional. A beautiful song and beautiful imagery! Truly touched my heart ❤️. Paganism is a beautiful religion that is treated so terribly because it’s so misunderstood. Blessed Be to all you 🌼🌛⭐️🌜🌸

@@Meowie765 and the Christians had the Spanish Inquisition, The Crusades, Salem witch trials, burning and torture of innocent people who were accused of being “heretics”, or witches and all in the name of God. Like the Christians would say “He without sin cast the first stone”. Modern day Pagans don’t sacrifice any living creatures just like modern day Christians don’t murder anyone for “heresy”. We learn from the errors of our ancestors and don’t repeat them. We practice our religions as they should have always been practiced, peacefully.

@@Meowie765 Unlike the Christians we Pagans didn’t have such torture devices to get confessions out of people such as The Rack. Judas Cradle. Brazen Bull Heretic's Fork Choke Pear Rat Torture Crucifixion Scaphism. And that’s just to name a few. I love how Christians conveniently forget that they weren’t any better than we were, if not worse.

But they're anti-German? Are you a troll or just mentally deficient? This song and video is about "communist" "witches" taking the girls into the "forest" where the lesbian Moon "goddesses/the matriarchs" will teach them to hate German men and accept "the blackness" (black dick/interracial mixing) which will lead to the disappearance of the White Germans and their evil culture. Although this could be seen as a form of genocide attempt at least according to the expanded UN definition the "communists" insist that it's not a genocide since they aren't killing anyone and German culture sucks anyway. Other times they promote the idea of Germans never having children because the planet is overpopulated / some kind of a climate catastrophe is occurring and they have to save it by not existing anymore. Germany already has the lowest or the second lowest birthrate of any country in the world (depending on source). Like I said in the beginning, you really aren't a bright one. PS: That "Slav"(ic) music playlist of yours is mostly just a bunch of communist acts. Those Red Cossacks are one of Stalin's creations. Their purpose is to subvert actual music made by the Cossacks and to stop their messages. All of the "folkloric" music is the same in all of the former USSR states; that includes Hungary of course. That girl with the swords and Percival are the big exceptions, those are fascists and Slavonic Affairs is a Polish neoNazi hub / propaganda channel. Now you know.....

Well, Christians don't celebrate Walpurgisnacht as an independent thing, it's just a vigil because they celebrate Saint Walpurga the next day und she was basically an anti-witchcraft saint. And there are also modern Satanists who celebrate Walpurgisnacht.
