For everyone note sure what the lyrics are: English: Soar into the evening sky The magic ways tonight Wild people and Lilith's art Lurking winds drive secretly Let's roam to the fires Reaching for the stars in a whisper Good and bad word Let's carry on and on today Our dreams will sound in the pastures And the winds will sing our songs Let's jump over the fire with the sparks On the Walpurgis Night! Hear the violins, hear the violins (Hey yo) The fires are lit! (Hey yo) Follow the dance, follow the dance On the Walpurgis night Fierce in the violin game Our nightly 'round dance And we kick wild and free This old magic Once only in a large circle Let's dance that way Until the first morning light Our dream tissue breaks Our dreams will sound in the pastures And the winds will sing our songs Let's jump over the fire with the sparks On the Walpurgis Night! Hear the violins, hear the violins (Hey yo) The fires are lit! (Hey yo) Follow the dance, follow the dance On the Walpurgis night Hear the violins, hear the violins (Hey yo) The fires are lit! Hear the violins, hear the violins, The fires have been started! Follow the roundelay, follow the roundelay In Walpurga's Night. Boisterous to the playing of the violins Our nightly roundelay is spinning And wild and free we join This ancient magic. Only once in the great circle Will we dance in this manner, Until the first light of the morning Breaks through the web of our dreams. In the willows our dreams will sound And the winds will sing our songs Let us jump over the fire with the sparkles In Walpurga's Night! Aha. That sounds like someone might know WHY they're dancing around what seems sort of related to a Maypole. Not that I know why folk dance around Maypoles either 'tho I suspect like many things its pre-Christian in origin and possibly was 'annexeed' by the Church as part of their insatiable obsession to assimilate everyone. Still, I had no idea Faun were like some sort of wiccan(?) music group. I just like quite a lot of their music. But I did wonder why they do some seemingly curious things. To avoid any suspicion of 'sailing under a false flag', I should probably add that as a good atheist I think you're *all* mad of course, but the witchy folk are less *intrusively* mad so hey, each to their own.

@@cmd7930 If you study the Celtic revival started by St. Patrick and carried on for 300 years by other Celtic saints you will see that the Celts were the ones who evangelized Europe. The monasteries of Ireland were training schools to send out missionaries. It is said they were like bees covering the continent. They did not use force but used truth and persuasion only. Charlemagne used force and gained only fake converts just like Constantine and later Roman emperors to empower the Roman Cult called Catholicism which is not Christian and is really an expression of the ancient Babylonic religion started by Nimrod (They have the same woman holding a baby) which was a rebellion against the true God Jah preached by Noah and Shem. Paganism is a later religion and is not the original religion. Paganism rejects the concept of an infinite God and replaces him with finite gods and by doing such was the first expression of anti-theism.

I lost someone recently. His memorial was on Walpurgisnacht this year. We are Americans, so this holiday doesn't really exist out here. I learned about this holiday because of this song only a year ago. So, May Day / Walpurgisnacht / Beltane became a very grief-filled time this year for me. However, this song and other songs by Faun and few other artists have been very therapeutic for me to listen to. I am not religious, but I started lighting devotional candles, and wearing a cartouche of Anubis. I feel like my friend isn't truly gone if I have music and tokens of his existence. Rest in peace, Austin. Whatever is out there after this life, if anything at all, I hope you're doing your best.

Hello fellas. I'm from Iran. The song's title drew my attention. Ya know, I've been readin' Faust for a while and honestly it could be a good education on German folklore myths and culture in which I came across "Walpurgisnacht" phrase for the first time. It's awesome. The song's rhyming is adequately nice even though I don't know German at all. 🇮🇷🇩🇪👍

As someone who recently learned German after moving to Germany a few years ago, this shows how beautiful the German language is. As an American I always viewed it as such a harsh language, but as I started learning and hearing everyday German and some of the beauty of the structure of the language, I fell in love with it and the culture! We live in Swabian land.... understanding and getting a grasp on the slang is a hilarious journey lmao

Do not be deceived. Witchcraft is a way for satan to divert your attention from the One true God. We are living in the last days, time is running out.Wake up! "The night is almost over, the day of salvation will soon be here. So remove your dark deeds like dirty clothes, and put on the shining armor of right living because we belong to the day, we must live decent lives for all to see. Don't participate in the darkness of wild parties and drunkenness, or in sexual promiscuity and immoral living, or in quarreling and jealousy. 14Instead, clothe yourself with the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ. And don't let yourself think about ways to indulge your evil desires." The Walpugisnigth is still celebrated in some parts of Germany, espacially in the region around Bautzen in Saxonia. The fighers are much higher than this one here and at the end of the knight a witchpuppet will be burned on it. There are also lower ones about wich the visitors can jump tho show their braveness. Its a few years ago and I do`t know what`s with the tradition during corona, but shurrely it will be relaunched again. Loving Faun for bringing our culture in an interessting way to the world.
